Air, air, I need air. I run out the back door the second FIR finishes their set. Deep breaths, deep breaths.

"I figured you'd come out here."

"What the hell are you doing here?" I snarl.

"I wanted to see my girl." Aiden smiles.

"Your girl." I give a choked laugh. "I thought telling you that I hate you, and moving across an ocean was a big enough hint on me not being your girl any more."

"Distance mans nothing when feelings are real."His lips crash onto mine.

I push him away. "Get off of me!" I open the door, but he slams it shut.

"What did you say to me?" I know that voice all to well. I duck, but his fist comes up instead of across. I taste blood in my mouth. "Haven't you learned not to talk back to me?" I try to run, but his hands come up to my throat, and he pushes me up against the wall. My feet aren't even touching the ground. "After everything I did for you, you ungrateful. Waste. Of. Space." Every word was a punch to the stomach. One hit my ribs. I think it's cracked.

I kick him, and he drops me. I make a break for the door. I have it open! He grabs the hair on the back of my head and slams my head into the door so hard it closes. I see stars from all of the pain I'm in. "This would be so much easier for you if you didn't fight back." He twists my right arm, and pushes me ahead of him. "Lets go."

I dig my heals into the icy ground. I fall causing my shoulder to dislocate, and him to fall. Here's my chance! I crawl away, and he grabs my legs, dragging me backwards. Think Laci think! I see something shiny out of the corner of my eye; a glass bottle! I grab it as he climbs on top of me. "I thought I told y-" I smash the bottle on the base of his skull, and knock him out cold.
