Something More?

After the sound check things went pretty smoothly. We were doing final prep when I noticed Ashley was gone, and then I noticed him storming toward me from down the hall. Without a word, Ash pushed past me to the stage, grabbing his base along the way. Curiosity got the best of me and I followed my seemingly angry friend. I found him pacing back and forth in the small space just behind the stage.
"Ash, what's wrong?"
"Are you kidding me? The two of you are driving me nuts! It's all feelings feelings feelings, just fuck and work it out already!"
"Woah... I'm sorry that my emotions are annoying you so."
Ashley stopped pacing and sighed, turning to face me. "It's not that. It's just that the two of you refuse to talk to each other and it is getting painful to watch. Just please do everyone a favor and talk to her after the show."
I nodded agreement to Ashley. I hadn't realized that my feelings for Celestia had been affecting the rest of the band so much. Thankfully I didn't have much time to think it over as the rest of the band came into the smallish space only seconds later. The concert was starting and the guys charged onto the stage one by one.
The concert got my mind off of Celestia for the most part, but from time to time I noticed a swelling sense of anxiety in the pit of my stomach. Every time I noticed this I did my best to push it down and focus on the concert. The fans were really awesome, and no one seemed to notice my distractedness. After the concert we did meet and greets and at some point Celestia disappeared. By the time we were done interacting with fans the staff had packed up almost all of our equipment. When we got back to the bus I discovered a sight I didn’t expect to see. Celes was pacing up and down the length of the bus. When she saw us she made eye contact with me and quickly flopped down on the couch, staring at her nails, then the floor, then the ceiling. She was basically looking at anything but me. I did my best to shrug it off and go pack my things.
It didn’t take long for me to pack my bags, seeing as we hadn’t been on the road long there wasn’t much out to pack. It was still light out when everyone finished packing and the bus got to the airport. We are really lucky to have a reserved jet to take us to europe, though with all our gear it isn’t impossible to imagine. When we got to the airport we went through customs and dropped off our bags before heading to the plane. I made sure to get the seat next to Celes, which I was glad was also in the back. I sat down and felt my throat closing up from my anxiety.
It took me a minute to force my voice to work, “Celes, lets talk… I like you. And for some reason I’m actually afraid of you rejecting me. But don’t take that the wrong way because it’s not like I don’t think you're worthy of rejecting me but I just-”
“I like you to.”
She had spoken so softly that I thought my mind had deceived me. “What?”
“I said I like you too you dumbass. So where does that leave us?” She sounded almost… vulnerable.
“Will you be mine? Not a one night stand... Nor friends with benefits but really, truly, mine…?”
I met her brilliant green eyes, searching them for any signs of doubt or unwillingness. But I found none. Then in a flash She leaned over and pressed her lips to mine in a gentle kiss. “Yes.”

Notes

So this chapter is super short and really sappy but it gets the point across. The next chapter is probably going to be the lemon and then I need to decide where to take it from there.
