We Are Unbreakable

Rileys POV

I was so numb. Everything was a blur. Nothing seemed real.
It was like I was an empty shell just walking around without a soul.
"Riley? Riley?! Wake up! Come on! The plane is landing!" Jackson said anxiously bouncing in his seat.
"Chill dude, still won't be another twenty minutes before we get off the plane" I mumbled with my eyes still closed.
"Still... What do you wanna do today? Check out sights? Stay in? Get some food?" He questioned.
"Jackson, I'm tired as fuck. If you want me to be happy and perky for tomorrow, I suggest, we go grab some food and as soon as we can check in to the hotel, we do so."
"Must have been pretty bad if you're this grumpy" he commented.
"Just stay out of it."
"I'm just saying. I've known Ashley for a long time and I've gotten to know you, so I'm just confused and trying to understand."
"Can you just get back to figuring out my tattoos? by the end of this tour, my body will more ink than skin."
"Sure. You want... Your mother's name on your knuckles, Pierce The Veil lyrics, two daggers on the back of your forearms, a wing with Fallen Angels lyrics, ummm something with 'Good night Caty...' I don't get that one... Ummm, the pentagram dream catcher, Toothless from 'How To Train Your Dragon and something from the movie Tangled" he said huffing a sigh at the end of the list. "Anything else?"
"The ripped skin locket under my boobs. And maybe more Pierce The Veil lyrics... And something to do the Simple Plan possibly."
"You don't ask for much" he said smugly.
"I'm paying you" I retorted.
"But you get paid to come on this tour!"
"And that money will pretty much go to you."
"I suppose" he chuckled.

Later we finally able to check into the hotel and rest before tomorrow.
I dropped all of my stuff on one of the beds and collapsed onto the other.
"So which bed are you taking?" Jackson said sarcastically.
I just shrugged.
I saw him roll his eyes and start moving my stuff off the other bed.
"You have a message and a missed call from Ashley" he said holding up my phone.
"And?"
"Shouldn't you call him back?"
"Nahh."
And just like clockwork, my phone started to ring and I saw Ashley's picture show up.
"Don't answer it!"
But it was too late. Jackson had already pressed talk.
"Hey Ashley, it's Jackson... Yeah we are. We just checked into the hotel... I don't know if she wants to talk to you."
I glared at Jackson.
"Hang on" he said putting the phone to his chest. "He really wants to talk to you."
"I'm not ready to talk to him."
His face dropped as he raised the phone back to his ear.
"Sorry Ash. Look, I don't know what's happened between you guys, but I'll talk to her, okay?"
I rolled my eyes at the last comment. There was no talking to me, not about this. Ashley just needed time to think and so did I.
"Okay Ash, we'll see you when we get back. Bye" he said hanging up and tossing my phone to me. "You need to fix shit."
"I have nothing to fix, I have nothing to feel. I'm empty right now. Talking to Ashley won't help anything cause I'm still mad. I said we would talk when I get back."
"Well he's really counting on something sooner than that."
"I can't."

Ashleys POV

"She won't answer me. Jackson picked up" I said to CC.
"As I said, give her time, At least you know she hasn't told him. I guessing she plans to keep it to herself."
"Thank God for that. It means she does want to fix this..."
"Ash, I told you. Just give her the space. Let her go" CC said, obviously getting frustrated with me.
"Let who go?" Seth asked as he walked into the room.
"No one Seth" CC mumbled.
"You talking about Riley again?" Seth said rolling his eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes at me! When you're older you'll understand" I said, glaring at him.
"I'm just saying, I've just noticed you guys have been having problems lately and Riley isn't even here right now."
"The problem started before she left" CC clarified.
"Did she leave because of it?" He asked.
"No, she was doing this anyways. It was just convenient that she was leaving six weeks" I said.
"What about saying sorry? Then won't she come back?" Seth said hopefully.
"Doesn't work like that kiddo. I wish it did" I said to him.
"What? So you can do wrong by Riley more often?" CC said harshly.
"You know I didn't mean to! I already feel like shit about this! Don't need to kick me while I'm down" I said shrinking into the couch.
"Just be glad she doesn't go round telling everyone and that she is an amazing person who is willing to do anything for you" CC said as a matter of a factly.
"He's right. Riley loves you so much. I'm sure she'll forgive you" Seth said unknowingly.
"For a kid, you know a lot."
Seth just shrugged.
I wish I could just shrug and everything would go away. I had truly fucked up everything.
