We Are Unbreakable

CCs POV

It was early Friday morning and I was rudely awakened when I heard loud knocking at the front door.
I looked over at Kimber and she barely stirred. I sighed and hesitantly got out of bed and slowly made my way to the door.
I unlocked the door and slowly cracked it open.
There stood a distraught looking Ashley.
"Ash? What are you doing here? Do you know how early it is?" I mumbled.
"I know. Is Riley here? Please tell me she is" he said desperately.
"Umm, no, why would she be?"
"She knows..."
"What do you mean, she knows?" I said tiredly.
"She knows I cheated on her" he said quietly.
My eyes shot open.
"What happened? How did she find out?!"
"Someone sent her a picture. She walked out last night and I don't know where she went. I want to catch her before she leaves for New York, but I'm not having much luck..."
"Have you asked the others?"
"I don't really want to. The less people that know, the better. I don't need this getting out. I highly doubt Riley would say anything..." He said, worrying out loud.
"Look, I think you're best just leaving her alone. She obviously wants her space and she's going to get plenty of it. She's not coming back for like, what? Six weeks? Just give her the time."
"I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't possibly wait till she comes back!" He said in frustration.
"Just wait it out dude, let her come to you. There's nothing else you can do" I said leaning against the front door.
"She said she'll let me know when she gets to New York..."
"When was her flight?"
"I don't remember" he said anxiously.
"Well, I have a feeling she's already left. Just sit tight. Come in, I'll make some breakfast since you've woken me up."

Rileys POV

My flight was at 6:30 am, which I was now thankful for. I didn't want anything more than to get out of LA and be away from Ashley.
I had spent majority of the night crying my eyes out. I don't think I actually got any sleep, I probably just passed out for an hour. I re-awoke when my phones alarm went off at 4:30.
My eyes felt stiff and dry, and my heart felt heavy in my chest.
I sighed and got out of bed and dressed myself in black skinny jeans, long black and red tartan shirt with cut off sleeves and a light leather jacket.
I then quietly unlocked the door and tip toed to the bathroom and pulled my hair in a ponytail, taking all the hair off my face.
"Where the hell are you going?" Andy said, startling me.
I gasped at his sudden appearance at the doorway.
"Holy fuck Andy! Don't fucking do that!" I yelled. "Shit, sorry, is Juliet still sleeping?" I whispered.
"Nahh, she's away doing some studio stuff" he said in a normal tone. "You still didn't answer my question. Where the hell are you going?" He asked again.
"I'm going to New York for this tattoo convention with my artist. It's going all around the country so I'll be gone for six weeks."
"Wow, so you'll finally understand what it's like when we go on tour" he commented.
"I suppose, but it's not like I'm performing every night, although, I'll be getting tattooed all day and that's not exactly fun..."
"Tattoos? You're really getting into this?"
"Hell yeah! I'm gonna model for Jackson's shop after this. He's pretty much the only person who has tattooed me, except fo-"
"The stars" Andy said cutting me off.
"Yeah..."
"So, why are you here?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"I rather not talk about it" I said trying to exit the bathroom.
"Riley, you know you can talk to me" he said stopping me.
"Andy, I've got to go or I'm gonna miss my flight" I said walking around him.
"You look like shit by the way!" He called after me.
"Thanks" I said sarcastically, knowing that my face looked worn out.
I grabbed my stuff and headed for the front door. I noticed Andy watch me from the stairs.
"What?" I asked.
"I don't know. It's weird seeing you in this house again. So much time has passed, but it reminds old times."
I gave him a small smile. "It is weird. Thanks for letting me stay. See you in six weeks" I said waving goodbye.
"See you."

I met Jackson at the airport and I could tell he could barely contain his excitement. He was practically bouncing in his seat.
"All checked in?" He asked as I approached.
"Yep. All set" I said sitting next to him.
"Riley, I hate to say it, but you look like shit. Didn't sleep or something?"
"I didn't really. Me and Ashley had this massive argument yesterday, so that made leaving extra hard. Last night I slept at Andy's cause it was that bad."
"Riley, if its that bad, you can bail. Your personal life is more important" he said, pushing his floppy light brown fringe out of his face.
"No, no, I want to be here. I feel like I need some distance between myself and Ashley. Give us some time to think."
"I hope everything's okay..."
"It's not, but I need time."
"Okay, I'm gonna get off topic now cause you're gonna get depressed and I need the opposite of that. What other tattoos were you wanting? You're thigh piece my only be another day or two worth" he said sounding concerned.
"Don't worry, I added a few more to the list and you are gonna die."
