The Change Of A Lifetime
I blankly stared at him. I was speechless. In front of me, was the Andy Biersack. I took in all his gorgeous features. His beautiful blue eyes. His cheeckbones. His beautiful lips. Every inch of him was perfect. I tried to find my voice.
"U-uh. Y-ya! I'm- I'm fine!" I managed to force out. Andy just smiled. "That's good. So, what's your names, girls?"
I was having trouble speaking again. Paige saw my struggle, and answered for me. "I'm Paige! And this is Emily." I just nodded and smiled like an idiot. Andy's smile grew. "Beautiful names. Beautiful girls. I'm guessing you know who I am?"
I grinned. "Of course we know who you are! We're both huge fans of you're music."
Andy stood back up, laughing. "Well that's great to hear! You both seem pretty cool. You wanna meet the band?"
My eyes grew. Andy wants to introduce us to the band?! Oh my god. I never expected this to happen. I seriously thought that we'd get to say hi, and that'd be the end of it. I couldn't believe this was happening to us! Andy held out his hands. We took them, gratefully, and he led us over to where the band was sitting. Jake and Ashley immedietly looked up at us, while Jinxx was strumming his guitar and CC was sucking down a monster.
Ashley rose to his feet. "And who do we have here?" He said, almost seducively. Andy let go of our hands and sat next to CC. "This is Paige, and Emily," he said.
"Well," Ashley said, "they look like very nice girls. And very pretty I might add." He took Paige's hand and gave her a small twirl. She giggled, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "Thanks Ashley." She replied.
Jinxx and CC were now looking at us as well.
"So, Emily, Paige?" Jinxx said, "sit down with us! Tell us about yourselves. It's great to meet you." I took the seat across from Andy, next to Jake, while Paige sat close to Ashley. "What do you want to know?" I asked. I kicked up my feet on a table and grabbed a monster that was nearby. Unopened and cold. I looked toward CC, who had shock on his face, but smiled and nodded. Everyone let out a chuckle.
"Anything!" CC said. He crushed the now empty monster can and tossed it behind him. "You're life. Why you're here. Favorite music. Anything you want."
"Well..." I started. "Life hasn't been all that kind to me. I grew up in a very abusive household. My dad would force sexual things apon me, and make me do them to him." I stopped as my eyes started watering, and a stay tear ran down my cheek. "My parents were against anything I did. They would punish me for listening to your music, or any music that wasn't in their favor. I'd be punished for dying my hair, or dressing the way I do. I don't think they even wanted me really. Even trying to come here was horribly hard. They kicked me out. Now I live with Paige in her hotel." I finished. I wiped away my tears as I looked at the band. Most of them looked sympathetic, and sad, but Andy's expression looked different. Something I couldn't exactly explain.
"Emily..." Jake started. I could tell he was at a loss for words. "Don't worry about me." I said, trying to sound reassuring. "I'm glad I'm free from them. I'm much happier living with Paige." Jake just nodded and looked off at nothing. "And...you, Paige?" Jinxx said, unsure.
She sat up in her seat. "Not much to say. I don't know my real parents. They disowned me and made me live with my Aunt and Uncle. Whenever I tried to see them, they would always make up an excuse. Then, when I started to change my style, their attitude toward me changed. They were nasty, abusive, and turned... just cruel. I ran away last year and have been living in the hotel ever since." Paige didn't shed any tears, although Ashley looked like he was about to burst.
"You girls have been through so much." CC whispered. "I wish there was something we could do." It was quiet for a moment.
Then, Andy mumbled something that I didn't quite catch. "What?" I asked.
"They could stay with us..." He said a little louder. "We've got extra beds, a few of our girls who worked backstage quit altogether to work for a new band. You two could take their places."
The band exchanged looks, processing what he just said. Millions of questions swarmed through my head. They wanna take us in? They really wanna help us? Could I seriously live and be there on tour with the Black Veil Brides?!
Ashley spoke up. "Well I'm all for it. I couldn't turn them away after this. And besides, they seem pretty cool."
"Ya," CC said, his expression turned more cheerful, "Y'all seem kickass really. And anyone who loves Monster is my immediate bestie!"
I laughed, and took another sip of the drink. God Monster was good...
Ashley shouldered Paige playfully. "Ya let em stay. May be interesting.
"I agree," Jake said. Jinxx just nodded.
Andy stood up and took his keys out of his pocket. he spun the metal ring around his finger, and looked to me. "Then it's official!" He said, happily. "We'll go by your hotel right now, get your stuff, and put it on the tour bus!" I was confused for a moment. What about the other people here? I looked around. The place was empty. I guess they left and I didn't even notice. Clueless me.
We all agreed and made our way toword the door. It took a minute. But one single thought finally clicked in my brain. It made me smirk. I'm now living with Black Veil Brides. How's that for livin' on my own, huh mom?
