Ravens POV
The night was really long for me, but I had so much fun after my talk with Jinxx. I really don’t want to tell CC, but I guess I kind of have to… I just don’t want him to hate me for it or anything. I quickly shoot a text to Alex.
R- Hey, you still up?
A- Well, yeah. Jake is above me snoring.
R- Meet me in the kitchenette area.
A- Okay
I snake out of CC’s arms and make my way to the kitchenette where Alex is waiting. “Sup, buttercup?” she asks. Immediately I start to cry. I don’t know why I am crying, but I am. “What’s wrong?”
“I’m so afraid, Alex.” I tell her. I’m not afraid of anything. And to be honest, what I am scared of is crazy.
“You? Afraid? Since when are you afraid of anything?” She asks. I push out of her arms and run to the bathroom. I lock the door, refusing to let her in. I slowly slide my blade out of my back pocket and look at it. I ask myself if this is what I really want to do. Sadly, I say yes. I roll my sleeve up and begin to cut. I loose count at twenty. Soon, Alex’s voice is not the only one I hear. Jinxx is at the door, begging for me to open it. Finally, he picks the lock. “Damn. Why didn’t I think of that?” I hear Alex say.
“Oh god. Raven! No!” Jinxx yells. He quickly scoops me up and carries me to the couch. He is such a mother sometimes. “Why did you do this?” He asks as he cleans the wounds.
“Well. I… erm… I’m scared…” I say. “I’m scared that if CC finds out, then he won’t want me anymore and he will hate me and kick me out.” I finally spit out through my tears. Alex walks over and gently hugs me.
NO ONES POV
“Girl. He would be stupid to let you go.” She says. Right about then, CC and Jake walk out. I duck my head and let my tears fall. “Uh, CC? Can we talk in bunk alley?” He just nods and quickly goes to the bunks. “Look. Raven has been through a rough time. Her dad left when she was in first grade and came back in her third grade year. Actually that’s the year we became friends. I was there for her when her brother raped her and again when her fathers roommate molested her. When she was ten, she started to starve herself, making up excuses as to why she didn’t eat. She wanted to be perfect. I’ve never seen her scared though. Not even when her mom held that gun to her head. Or when her father left her with no money in her pocket on the side of the rode. But tonight, she is terrified. She started cutting when she was twelve, and she hasn’t stopped since. Her parents sent her to a psych ward. She needs you CC.”
CC has a puzzled look on his face. Slowly, he speaks, “Why is she scared?” Alex looks at him with a look of “really?” on her face. Could he not see it? Or did he not want to see it?
“She doesn’t want you to leave her over the fact that she doesn’t eat or that she self-harms. She really likes you. She always has.” Alex says before walking back to Raven. “Hey sugar bear.” Raven smiled slightly at her childhood nickname given to her by her only uncle. CC slowly walks over to Raven. He picks her up with ease and settles into the couch, cuddling her to his chest. He rolls up her sleeves and gasps.
“Please don’t do this ever again. And please eat. For me?” He asks. Raven just looks at him and nods. Andy walks in.
“Same for you Alex. I don’t want you to hurt anymore. I want you to be happy.” He tells her. Alex just smiles and glances at Raven, who looks at her as if she were to say “if I have to, you have to”. Finally she nods. After a while, cuddling became too boring for CC. He jumped up and yelled “BREAKFAST TIME FOR THE TWO BESTEST PEOPLE I KNOW!” He ran to the fridge and grabbed the eggs, bacon, and pancake mix.
“CC it’s like two a.m. Can’t this wait till like 8 or eleven?” Andy asks. CC just looked at him.
“Andy. These girls have to be starving. I’m going to make a killer breakfast.” And that he did. The girls ate everything on their plate, including the bacon which was greasy and fatty. Raven looked at Alex.
“Don’t even think about it girls.” Jinxx said. “You two aren’t leaving our sight for three hours until we know that food is digested.” That was a promise that would be kept.

Sorry for the downer bit... but ALEX AND RAVEN ATE!!! Oh and this chapter, alot of it was based off of my personal story, and yes, i finally ate tonight. For the first time in a week. I ate pretzels, mainly because I blacked out on the phone with my boyfriend... SORRY FOR THIS RANDOM RANT I LOVE YOU
