Ash’s POV
I was sitting in my bunk, listening to Jinxx and Jakes soft snores. CC was having some really intense conversation with Raven and Alex and Andy were cuddling on the living room couch. Me, well, I was thinking, long and hard. There was this one girl named Skye who I met a few days ago at one of our meet-and-greets. She was amazing and I couldn’t get her out of my head. I looked at the paper I had managed to get her phone number on. I decided to text her.
A – Hey :)
S – Who is this?
A – The Outlaw. Duh
S – OH Hey!
A – Had you already forgotten about me?
S – No! But it is super late. I’ll text you tomorrow okay?
A – Sure! Night!
And with that, our conversation ended.
CC’s POV
“Raven, I swear you are a perfect person.” I told her. “There’s nothing wrong with how you act.”
“But who wants a fuck up who can’t control her temper?” she tells me. We had been having this argument for 15 minutes.
“Raven, please believe me. When we first met, and I saw you stand up to Ash, I knew there was something about you. Just your being and everything about you. I saw you were hurt sometime in your life and I wanted to help you. But then, there was another side to you. Your submissive side. I knew that it wasn’t the part you wanted me to see, but I saw it. I believe in a fantasy called love at first sight, and that’s what I felt when I saw you in that pizza parlor.” I tell her. Tears swell into her eyes and she buries her face into my shoulder. I pull her close and that’s how we fall asleep.
