Falling Angels

Andy's POV
I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and pulled away. Not able to control my feelings for Claire, I looked down at her and smiled like an idiot. "Looks like someone's in loooove." CC announced. "Damn right we are." I responded, draping an arm around Claire's waist. "Claire, is this true?" Ashley asked in mock surprise. "It sure is." Another smile appeared on her face. "So you're not a purdy girl." Ashley said. He faked a frown and playfully stomped past us to hook his bass up to an amplifier. "Sorry, Ash. I'm a Biersack Babe for life." Claire replied. "You heard her." Jake asserted. The smile on my face widened. I loved it. 'She's my Biersack Babe for life.' I repeated in my head. "Alright lovebirds get back to work." Jinxx playfully scolded us. I rolled my eyes and asked Claire, "So, what do you want to sing?" "I don't know." she replied. She thought for a minute and smiled. "How about Knives and Pens?" she asked. I internally flinched. I remembered her past and the scars she had to prove she survived. It seemed like the rest of the guys were thinking the same thing. A look of parental concern emerged from Jinxx's features and Ashley noticed her scars. Claire noticed his noticing and tried to hide her arms but Jinxx would have none of this. He stepped forward and gently took her wrists in his hands. Slowly, he pulled her arms back into plain sight and said, "You don't need to hide around family. The past is in the past and you're okay now. That's all that matters." Tears formed in Claire's eyes and she unsuccessfully tried to blink them away. CC wrapped her in one of his infamous bear hugs and reassured her, "We love you. And you can play my drums if you want. It doesn't matter that you're a Biersack Babe." She pulled away laughing and wiped her tears. "Thanks guys." she said. "Anytime." Jake replied. "Now let's do this!" CC shouted. I walked over to Claire and pulled her close. "Don't be hitting on my Biersack Babe, CC. She's mine." I said, swooping in to peck her cheek. "Ooooh I'm so scared." CC replied in mock horror. I smiled and punched his shoulder as I walked by. "Ow!" he exclaimed. "We tried to warn you, CC. She's a Biersack Babe for life." Jake said seriously. Everyone burst out laughing as we finished setting up. Me and the guys joked around all the time. I was glad that Claire was joining the fun. "What are you doing during the song?" Claire asked. A smile spread across my face.
