Forsaken, I Walk The Night Alone

A New Day, New Experiences

"Vale you'll never know how beautiful you actually are..." Andy whispered, kissing both of her cheeks. Vale looked up at him, love lacing her stomach. He wasn't wearing the usual black, but a white, puffy dress shirt and black slacks.

"I will if you show me." She whispered, he fiddled with them hem of her long white ball gown.

"I can't..not here.." He whispered, kissing the shell of her ear and all the way down to her collar bone. Her head rolled to the side to allow him and her hands drifted around his neck. "I love you..but it's time to wake up."

"What?"

"Wake up, Vale! Your going to be late.."

Vales eyes snapped open to the feeling of Annalise shaking her arm. She had fallen asleep with her book on her chest. She sighed looking over at Annalise.

"Thank god your awake." She said. "We're going to be late for church." Vale groaned and sat up a bit. She rubbed her eyes.

"Okay." She said, remembering exactly where she was.

Hell.

She jumped off her bed and changed into a pair of leggings and a nice black shirt. She slipped on her combat boots and laced them up before brushing her hair, teeth, and applying makeup. It didn't take her long and soon enough they were walking out of the building towards church along with everyone else.

Vale kept replaying the dream in her mind. Why did they have period clothing on? Why would her dumbass mind dream that up?

She was shaken from her thoughts as they pushed through the doors of the church. Annalise waved at her and walked over to her friends. Hallie turned to smile at her and then frowned seeing her sister.

Vale rolled her eyes and sat in the back row, shrinking down in hopes no one else would see her.
The group she was avoiding had already walked in and they plopped down on the pew in front of her. She let out a breath but Andy turned around and looked at her wearily. She rolled her eyes and shrunk down farther in her seat making him turn away.

He'd seen her in the window last night and only hoped she didn't see the picture.

The sermon was long and drawn out. Vale could feel herself almost falling asleep for most of it and she would have if it wasn't for the group in front of her. There was no telling what they would do to her while sleeping.

Really Vale had no clue how any of them but Andy were in a church without burning.
The hour drew out longer than she'd expected and she couldn't believe she had to do this everyday and for three hours on Sunday's. Vale usually loved church. She drove herself every Sunday morning, seeing as her family wasn't religious in anyway and she was the only one who was baptized.

She always loved the idea of Catholicism so she took the initiative and started to go with her grandparents. When she got old enough she started driving herself.

The fact that church wasn't a regular occurrence for the Augustina family was just another example of how terrible her James and Meredith were as parents.

They had Vale when they were young on accident and regretted it for years. Hallie was a year younger, and they had, had her on purpose. Even though Hallie was the trouble maker, Vale always knew that they loved her more. She was an accident, she was never supposed to happen. That's why she'd always kept to herself. She didn't feel wanted or like she really belonged with them.

The loveless childhood was one of the beautiful girls biggest flaws.

Finally the sermon had ended and Vale jumped up from her seat. She was starving and wanted to get to the cafeteria to eat. Everyone was standing around her and stretching out their sore limbs.
The group of 75 students walked towards the cafeteria, joking and laughing. One thing Vale couldn't get over is how normal they all seemed, in actually these kids had records, and some were even criminal records. That scared the shit out of her, especially with Ashley, Jake, and Jinxx walking around. Hell, even Andy! She didn't know why he was here. He could have lied to her and she cuddled with him in a bed.

Vale knew she needed to snap out of it. He wasn't good for her. No one at this school was.
She walked through the doors of the cafeteria and stood in line. Andy was a couple of people behind her and she was thankful he wasn't making any moves to try and talk to her.

Once she got her food, eggs and a piece of toast, she walked to the same table in the back. She opened the book she had with her and started reading The Raven again.

She didn't think anyone was going to bother her until she saw someone sit in front of her. It wasn't anyone in the little "group", but a girl with pitch black hair, angel bite piercings, and bright brown eyes.

"H-hi." She said, swallowing hard. "I'm Kelsey Ulrich."

"Vale Augustina." She smiled. She liked the look of this girl and thankfully she seemed to have nothing to do with Andy and his friends.

"I heard you don't have a record.." She said, smirking.

"Nope. Here for my sister." Vale sighed.

"My parents are making me go here." Kelsey shrugged. "They said it would control my...rebellious ways."

"So you don't have a record?" Vale raised her brow.

"Just psycho parents." She chuckled.

"Annalise said her and I were the only ones who didn't have records.."

"She and her father say that to everyone but they always forget about me." Kelsey shrugged. "I don't really care, I'm just trying to blend in. Lot of people I don't want to piss of here."

"Like who?" Vale pried.

"Like your roommate." Kelsey chuckled. "She would do anything to get people in trouble. She's her daddy's perfect daughter and she makes people's lives a living hell."

Vale felt confused. Annalise? She seemed so nice!

"Wow. She seems nice to me. She offered to show me around on Monday, she woke me up for church, showed me to the cafeteria.."

"Yeah, cause her father told her too. Don't tell her anything." She said. "Especially the fact that Andy Biersack was in your room yesterday." Vales eyes widened.

"How the hell!?" She exclaimed.

"I live next door to you guys. I heard him." Kelsey said. "Look, the people he hangs with..their bad news. You don't want to get involved."

"Well. I don't think that's going to be a problem. He's a bit of a dick." Vale shook her head.

"Yeah he is." Kelsey chuckled. "Glad we see eye to eye." She glanced up at Vale, a glimmer in her eye. Just at the sound of his name Vale visibly relaxed. Whether the young girl knew it or not, Vale could be the one to tame Andy.

"Me too. You know, I think you might be my first real friend here." Vale smiled. Kelsey's eyes glimmered.

"Same." She laughed. "Everyone else..is a little scary."

"I see that." Vale smirked.

"What were you reading?" Kelsey asked.

"Oh it's the Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allen Poe." Vale said. "My favorite poet."

"Mine too!" Kelsey's eyes widened.

"He is amazing isn't he? The Raven is my favorite.." Vale grinned.

"I like The Bells." Kelsey smiled. "It's beautiful."

"That's one of my favorites too."

The girls talked all breakfast, ignoring the group of boys and Tallie who were sneaking looks over at them. Once breakfast was over they decided to walk over to a tree near the edge of campus to hang out.

When they made it there, they both let out heavy sighs seeing Andy, and CC.

"Uh.." Vale said as he walked up to her.

"We need to talk." He said, softly.

"I thought you had to stay away for a little while." She said, staring into his eyes. A smirk fell across his lips as images flashed through his mind.

Dancing with her, holding her...kissing her. She was his, eternally his and he couldn't figure a way to tell her that.

"I can't." He said, licking his plush lips.

"You can." She said. "Kelsey and I were just going to read so, if you'll excuse me." She pushed past him and the girls sat down by a tree.

Andy blew out a sad sigh as CC put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, man."

"She hates me." Andy said as they turned and walked away.

"You came on a little strong." CC shrugged.

"I just don't know how to flirt! You know I've never done that before! I've never had too because I knew..she'd show up eventually." Andy shook his head.

"The prophecy didn't foretell when you met how she'd act. Andy, if your having the dreams than so is she. Give it time." CC said.

"It's almost impossible with Ash and the others around. What if I lose her?" Andy asked.

"You won't, remember you two are destined for each other."

"I know." Andy nodded.

"Come on, let's go meet the others. Got to stay on their good sides." CC winked.

The pair walked all the way to Ashley's dorm, stopping to find Talula on the way and when they arrived received a few frightening glares. "Ah the fallen angels are late as always."

"Says the demons." CC rolled his eyes. He was never as afraid of them as Andy was.

"Whatever." Ashley rolled his eyes. "We have a new plan."

"Oh and what's that?" Andy raised his eyebrow.

"You seduce her, we kidnap her, and then we kill her." Ashley grinned. "Simple as that." Andy's stomach clenched in fear.

Simple when you aren't working against everything your supposed to be working for.

"So...." Kelsey chuckled, looking up from her book. "What's up with you and Andy?"

"Nothing." Vale mumbled, a blush rising to her cheeks.

"You like him!" Kelsey exclaimed.

"I do not!" Vale protested.

"Oh come on.." Kelsey grinned. "Its obvious he likes you and the way you look at him, even if you are mad? You clearly like him."

"Even if I did his friends are too freaky." Vale said, leaning her head back on the tree. "And we get into fights a lot. I've only known him for two days and we constantly go back and forth from friends to enemies. I can't figure him out."

"Well maybe try to let go of any negative feelings and focus on the positives. He is hot.." Kelsey giggled. Vale bit her lip and nodded.

"That he is." She smiled. Something about the way his eyes matched hers, and the feeling she got just being around him. The way his eyes sparkled when they met hers, it was like she was looking into herself. They were her eyes to a tee, and she'd never met anyone with the same shade of blue.

"Incoming." Kelsey giggled, nodding to the pair of boys walking towards them. It was CC and Andy.

"Uh hey." Andy said, fluffing his hair up. "Can we sit with you guys?" As much as she wanted to say no, as much as she wanted to turn him away forever and tell him to leave her alone, she just couldn't. She couldn't let him stay away and she couldn't leave herself. He had her hooked and that's when she knew.

She was falling for the mysterious Andy Biersack.

Notes

:D So this story may seem like it's moving fast, but its important to know that everything is happening for a reason. Especially the times of when these things happen. Yes it will be going fast but on;y because the real story doesn't revolve around lovers as much as you think!

Comments

If you're really attached to the idea of being on the popular page, I suggest updating frequently, which makes your story more visible, and making your story really long. What I have written is not, by far, the best available, but sometimes my longer story will randomly become "popular." I couldn't figure out why, until I realized, it's, like, 160 pages long as a word document! So, if I get a new reader, and they read it all from start to finish, that's like a short story getting, like, 40 views! I mean, it still has almost no subscribers or comments. Just a thought. ;)
