Life's Passing

I looked down at the wings that were sticking out of my back. They were jet black, feathery, and full. I moved in a small circle watching as the breeze made the feathers move. I only notice then that Maharet stop in front on me. "Having fun?" She asked with a little laugh. I nodded and continued moving my shoulder blades back and forth trying to get a feel for having wings. " You will be able to hide them in public when you need to. " She said softly. "Also use them when you need to." I looked over to her feeling an abundance of gratitude. "I can not thank you enough for this... " I tried to state. She shook her head to quite me then. "You will thank me by doing what is good." She said. I nodded in agreement. "Now, the others are getting worried, you should head home before they come looking for you." And with that she was gone.

I quickly tried to relax my muscles and think about hiding my wings. With that thought, they were gone. I walked home with a smile on my face feeling hope for the first time we had come to this creepy little town. I was going to be able to help my friends get through this and be able to live normally again.

I walked onto the front porch and was greeted instantly by Jinxx. "Where the hell have you been?" he asked. "Hell and back." I laughed and he looked at me strangely. Jake was the next to come out onto the steps. I looked at him a little wearily remembering the Jake from hell, but this Jake only showed concern. "Dude, we've been looking everywhere for you." He said. I walked up the stairs and we all made our way back into the house. I was the last to walk in the door when I noticed Andy tense up. His eyes slowly went to black and he stared at me while muttering something under his breath. Shit.

"Andy, I might have turned into an angle while I was out." I spoke not waiting to get everything out. The others looked at me in confusion and then to Andy then back to me. He stood up at vampire speed and pushed himself into the farthest corner away from me. His eyes blackened further as he stared at me in hatred. He mutter a little louder now and it seemed to be in some other language. "Andy its alright." I said taking a step forward. He flinched into an unnatural position to try to further himself from me, looking like something straight out of an exorcism. We all stood in our places for a moment trying to think of what we could do. I took a couple steps back and noticed Andy relax a little bit. So that was it then no sneaking up on Andy and he wont go into demon mode. "I'm going to walk out of the room guys." I said slowly. I looked over to Jake. His eyes were black ad his hands were up ready to defend me if I needed it. He nodded and with that I slowly made my way to my bedroom.

Once out of sight I walked at a normal pace to my bedroom at the end of the hall. I laid down face first into the pillows and tried to think about how I was to help now. Andy was too demonic, I'm still a little afraid of Jake, and now I'm an angel. I used to think I had problems before, but now, this was fucking crazy.
