Life's Passing

I sat and watched the guys eat and talk to each other mostly about how much I had changed but I managed to tune them out. I was concentrating on other things like how far I could see and hear the things around me. The cook in the kitchen was pissed off because they were short staffed. A couple on the second floor were fighting over a wedding there were going to, and Juliet was down the hall talking to Jinxx. I decided to listen in out of boredom.

"I'm scared. It's like he is giving up everything that he loves for this stupid ghost or whatever." She said. "Well, I know that it does seem a little bit crazy but you have to trust in him." Jinxx replied. "You didn't see him this morning. He's completely changed. Ashley and him took off this morning with barely any notice. I'm afraid that he is out there somewhere hurting. I kind of just want to take him back home and not have to worry about this anymore. Maybe he is just putting to much stress on him self with the tour and trying to make decent enough music to please all of the fans. He puts so much on his shoulder." Juliet's words cut through me. It was like she didn't really believe in me. I know that she was having difficulty going through all of this with me but still.

"Guys, I think we should go back to L.A." I said. The guys all looked at me. "What?" Jake said. "We weren't even talking about that." CC replied. "Well, were just sitting here and it might be better for all of us to be back home for a while." Ashley nodded. "We'll call John and tell him to cancel the rest of the tour due to your shooting. That will make sense to the pubic." We all agreed and the boy finished up there breakfast. Now all that was left was to run it by Jinxx. CC shoved half of a pancake in his mouth before getting up with the rest of us and walking back to the rooms.

Jinxx sat on his bed with the expression of a pouting two year old. "We can't go back to L.A. If anything we need to go to West Virginia and figure out what the hell is going. " Jinxx explained. I though about it for a moment. That might work, but it also might drive Juliet away from me. I'm sure by this point all she wanted to do was go home sit on the couch and watch netflix with the cat, and to be honest that sounded amazing. "We can't stay here for much longer so we need to figure out something to do." Jake said. "I voted WV." CC said pulling out a Marshall football jersey and giving Ashley a high five. I looked over to Juliet. "What would you like to do?" I asked her a little bit afraid of what her answer might be. "I vote West Virginia." she said. I looked at her in shock but then smiled. Jake pulled out his lap top once more and googled the town looking for hotels. "How long do you think we will be there?" Jake asked. "Three months at the max." Jinxx said like he was an expert on ghost hunting. We couldn't help but laugh. "There is an old house for rent on the same street as the cemetary we went to." Jake pulled up the photos on google. "It looks like Whipstaff Manner." CC said literally laughing out loud. We all agreed again and Jake picked up the phone. "Yes, I'm calling about the house on 177 Kanawha Terrace."

John and Jake had made all the calls needed to make sure the tour was canceled and that we got the house in WV. We all packed up our things and got on the tour bus. I had to say good bye to my parents. We didn't tell them too much of what was going on. Only that we were all stressed out and need to take a vaction some where peacefull, like West Virginia. I was happy that they were not going with us. That could be just that many people not hurt at the end of the day.
