The Stage
Katarina's P.O.V
Images Flash through my head ,each one more searing and painful than ever before, of him back handing me, of him smiling as he broke my ribs, the look on his face as he took my innocence. Stop Katarina, my inner voice screamed, you can't do this, think of them, your fans, your band, leave the past behind for them. I needed to get my shit together. I looked at Nico, Nina, Sonya, and Tomi, knowing they knew what I was thinking about . I saw the worried looks on their faces and shook my head, then went to side stage knowing they'd follow.
" Not now, Are you ready?", I silently asked them.
Expecting them to refuse but to my surprise they nodded and got into position. Lastly I walked out with my signature blood splattered mic and just for a second listened to the maxium of 100 fans scream.
Knowing it was my time, I let a slow smile creep up on my face.
" Are you FUCKERS READY TO ROCK?" I screamed into my mic. I listened to their screams for a second more and yelled" FUCK YEAH! WE ARE THE ABYSS!!". Today I'd make sure to sing my cold, black, beaten heart out, even if it was the last thing I'd do.
Andy's P.O.V.
Fucking Idiots think its funny leaving me at the bar. Well they better hurry their asses up, because I can only smoke so many cigarettes until I run out. Wait what the hell is that? Is that? Yes it is. It's a concert, with a crowd, a big fucking crowd, based on the sound of their cheers, and that voice so, so familiar. Should I check it out? Ah Fuck it,First I texted Ash and then I ran across the back alley behind the bar and over into the empty lot where the cheers were the loudest. Then I saw them. They were on this makeshift stage that was rustic and badass, the blood splattered banners they had slung on the speakers shook with every vibration and then I saw the lead singer. She stood up there about my height ,wearing ripped white skinnies and a blood on the dance floor t-shirt. Everything about her shined when she was up on that stage, her slim figure glidded across the stage, while her blazing red and white hair stood out amongst her bandmates, and lastly I noticed a darkness behind her eyes, something that I just couldn't ignore. As she sang I could hear every possible emotion besides happiness, and I couldn't help but wonder what made her feel this way. After the last song she walked up to the front of the stage and yelled with the biggest grin on her face.
" I hope you enjoyed our set, I love all you crazy Mother Fuckers, and come see us soon We are the Abyss."
People started to clear out when Ash and the boys pulled up.
"ANDYYYYY!!" I heard CC yell.
I walked over to the guys my eyes still glued to the stage. " Hey guys have you heard of them before", I asked refrencing The Abyss.
" Oh Yeah We saw them on youtube but dude we gotta go", Ash stated.
" Not yet Ash ,Lets Go talk to them", I eventually persuaded them and as we walked up I heard a gunshot and then I saw the worst thing imaginable. I saw an angel in white fall.
