My actual adoption..

CC's PoV~

after we ate the pie and ice cream jez yawned i picked her up bridal style. she squirmed halfheartedly trying to get me to put her down. "stop it put me down." she kept squirming. "stop squirming or im gonna drop you." i tried to get a better grip on her but it was hard to. andy came up and grabbed her. she stopped squirming and looked at me. i rolled my eyes. "go sleep jezzy, you must be tired you havent been sleeping." i knew she didnt sleep at all while she was in the hospital. hell i didnt sleep either i was worrying about her. andy took her up to my room and im pretty sure she wont sleep at all. "dont worry she'll sleep. i know she hasnt slept while she was in the hospital." i jumped before i realized jake was speaking. i nodded and wandered into the living room to watch tv. andy came down and dropped onto the couch "damn she seriously doesnt want sleep." i felt bad for andy he was trying to help jez sleep but she wont. i got up and walked up to my room. jez was hunched under the covers i sat next to her and picked her up. she hissed before she realized it was me. "shhh jezzy its just me." she looked up at me her eyes huge. i held her tighter to my body and started humming. she closed her eyes and her claws were stuck in my shirt. i started singing let you down. she closed her eyes and hummed along. after a while jez fell asleep and i put headphones in and listened to music while keeping and eye on jez. i loved her so much i wanted to do anything to keep her safe.
