When all else fails... fake a smile.

Leah's POV

I was sitting at the table when I heard a guy ask me, "Mind if I set with you?" I looked up. One word..... damn. "Uh.... sure..um my friend.....Brooke went to," I trailed off as I saw Brooke talking to Ashley fucking Purdy. Daw hell she has him and... well I got Jake Pitts :). "If you don't mind I think your 'friend' found mine... so is it cool if we chill with ya'll?" Brooke was heading back over to me and saw me talking to Jake. Our eyes got so fucking big! HA!

Brooke's POV

"Would it be ok if I drank with you," Ashley asked as he fallowed me to, well where Leah was talking to Jake Pitts..... da fuck?!?! I seen Leah's face get bright red... yep she was ok with everything. Hell could freeze over and unicorns could run over everyone but she would be ok, because she was talking to Jake. Ha! Jake sat down across from Leah, and Ashley sat down across from me. "Well looks like we all found our other person," Jake said. Ashley laughed and was watching me. Leah, well she was Leah when she was around other people, shy. "So umm... not being a bitch, but.. uh why are ya'll here and not with the other guys, you know, getting ready for tomorrow?" Leah laughed at the "not being a bitch" part because I was one. "Well me and Ashley, well wanted a drink..." Jake started. "And thought we might check out to see if anyone knew what had happen to the girl that beat the shit out of one of the guys that was supposed to help set up the stage," Ashley said while looking at me. Damn... I hope the law ain't drug in this. "Well he called me a freak.. so I shown him what a freak could do," I said. "Yeah, and I had to pull your crazy ass off of him," Leah finally said. we all laughed. Ashley was looking at me, "hmmm crazy....well I like 'em crazy." Me and Leah looked at each other and busted out laughing, "be careful what you ask for. Brooke is a crazy mother fucker," Leah said when she caught her breath. Oh only if they new.

Ashley's POV

Her name was Brooke, and from what I knew, she could hold her own. God she was beautiful, and her body...mmmm it was curvy in all the right places. I was about to ask her friend Leah what they meant by "be careful what you wish for", when Brooke said, "I cant take this shit no more."......ok...... well Leah was laughing and Brooke was smiling, but her smile didn't reach her eyes, but when it almost did, it would die. "Ok.... so um..." I started to ask when Brooke jumped in, "wanna play thumb war?" Man she is fucking perfect. Thinks like child, but acts like a woman, and looks like an angle. "Ok," I laugh. Hey I don't see it as stupid, I get to hold her hand, kinda.

*FLASH BACK*
Brooke's POV

It was Halloween night. Me, Leah, and my friend Tristan went to a skate park around midnight. No one was there and we were all relaxed. "Hey Brooke bet you won't go shit in a urinal," Tristan said. Well we all know I do what I say and don't like to be challenged, "Ok lets see." Leah and Tristan waited out side the guys bathroom. I went in....and well took a shit in the urinal. Yep I sure as hell did. I walked out and they started laughing, half believing I did it and half believing I didn't. "Brooke you didn't do it," Leah laughed. "Ok. Go check," I challenged. They both declined. About five minutes later, our friend Matt showed up. "Dude, go check out the bathroom," Tristan called. So he did.... and he came out and yelled, "SOMEONE TOOK A SHIT IN THE URINAL!!!" We all lost it. Matt thought Tristan did it, but I took credit where it was due. "Man I am never gonna be able to look at you the same any more," Matt said. "Well, I am one crazy ass bitch." Now me and Leah have this inside joke. we say, "Man I can't take the shit no more," and pretend to stab our selves in the belly.

*BACK IN TIME*

Still Brooke's POV

I look over at Leah and I think she knows what I am gonna do, "Man I can't take this shit no more," I say and pretend to stab myself. She lost it. The boys just looked at as wired. "In....Side....Joke," Leah said between laughs.

Leah's POV

Damn I hadn't heard Brooke say that in a long time. Oh man, that is one night I WILL NEVER FORGET! "So..um... would you like to come meet the rest of the band, Jake asked. I whipped away a tear, "yeah sure, Brooke?" I looked at Brooke. Wow ok, her and Ashley were playing thumb war..... yep. "Huh," she asked with her big eyes. Damn we haven't had a single fucking drink and we were acting drunk, "wanna go meet the others?" She smiled, "does a fish like to live in water?" Ok my turn to be a smart ass, "No it prefers moonshine." We smiled. God this was the happiest I have seen Brooke in a long time.

Jake's POV

Wow.....just wow, Leah was perfect, not too skinny, but not too fat, bright blue/green eyes, sweet pale lips....damn. Her laugh, god it was pleasant, like music to my ears. I stand up and offer Leah my hand, "ready?" She smiles that drop dead smile, "yep."
