Forever Us

Suddenly as I could feel my feet getting faster and faster a mass force rammed me from the side, knocking me out cold.

I opened my eyes to see Andy hovering above me and a cold rag was on my forehead. “What the hell?” I choked out.

“She’s awake!” Andy shouted, sitting up. I tried sitting up with him but instantly fell backwards due to being dizzy.

---Andy’s POV---

I waved to Sky as I saw her bolt for me. Suddenly she ran right through a mosh pit and a huge guy ran right into her, knocking her over completely. I saw her lifeless body sitting there and that’s when I completely lost it. I balled my fists up and walked straight into the mosh pit, I wanted to go to the burly guy first but I knew Sky needed my attention first. I picked her up bridal style and turned around, Jake had obviously seen it too because he was right behind me, waiting to help. “Here. Take her back to the bus.” I mumbled, handing her to him then turning around. “Hey, asshole!” I hollered and the guy who knocked her out turned around. “Fuck you!” I yelled and sent a fist flying into his face. I sent a few more, then he was down on the ground too. I jogged out of there and back towards the bus before anyone would notice. She was already laying down on the bench, a cut on her forehead and she had dirt all over her. I walked into our room and grabbed a small towel and got it wet then went back to Sky, planting it on her forehead to clean her up and possibly wake her up. Soon her pretty little eyes fluttered open, revealing their deep grey color.

“What the hell?” She sounded croaky but at least she was awake.

“She’s awake!” I sat up. She tried sitting up with me but instantly feel backwards. “Woah there, tiger. Take it easy.”

“W-What happened?” She asked, closing her eyes.

“Well, you ran into a mosh pit, love. It knocked you out pretty well.”

“Damn.” She mumbled, rubbing her forehead.

“Yeah… How ya feeling?” I asked and bent down to her again, cleaning up the cut once again.

“I don’t know.” She opened her eyes again and looked at me.

“Well just take it easy for a while, okay? Do you think you need a doctor, or?” I kissed the cut lightly.

“No, I’m fine. Thanks, Andrew.” I noticed she said my full name this time but I’m sure she wasn’t in the mood to argue or anything considering she was just knocked out cold. I nodded and she scooched over on the bench, leaving me room to cuddle with her. I laid down beside her and put my head on top of hers while putting my arms around her like a security blanket. I kissed the top of her head and we both fell asleep.

I woke up to Sky shifting in her sleep, mumbling something. I was just about to wake her up, but I stopped and listened to what she was trying to say in her sleep.

“A-Andy… Andrew, no! Taylor!” She mumbled/ yelled. I decided it was time for her to wake up. I shook her shoulders and rolled her onto her back. She jolted awake, springing up from her sleep, tears were starting to well up in her eyes.

“Shhh, it’s okay, babe,” I said and pulled her close, kissing the top of her head. She didn’t say anything, just shook her delicate, broken body in my arms. God, I hated seeing her like this. I couldn’t stand watching the person I care for the most go through this much pain. She started to cry herself to sleep again in my arms as I cradled her, smoothing out her hair and whispering the lyrics to “Savior” from our band in her ear. “I love you, baby. Never forget that.” I whispered softly before standing up with her in my arms, carrying her bridle style into our part of the bus, making sure that my foot steps were quiet so I wouldn’t wake her back up. She’s had a rough day. I laid her gently onto the bunk and I pulled up her blanket on top of her. I sat down for a second on the bunk across from her and watched as her resting body laid there, dreaming about who knows what. God, I loved her so much. She was anything a guy could ever ask for. She was my everything. My world. I figured getting back in bed with her would only disrupt her sleeping so I walked into the small bathroom in the back and pulled off my shirt then pants, leaving me in just my black boxers. I laid down in the bunk across from her and closed my eyes. Suddenly I heard a soft tapping at our door. I opened my eyes and looked over at Sky, making sure the sound hadn’t woke her up. “Shh, one minute.” I whispered and got out of bed, looking around frantically for my pair of pajama pants. Soon I sound them sprawled across still from the other night and pulled them on. I walked over to the door and opened it to find Ella, wide eyed. “H-Hey, Ella… something wrong?” I asked her, a bit started that she was in here at this time at night.

“I need to tell you something, Andy.” She said, sort of blurting it out.

“Oh, uhm… Okay…?” I said and nodded my head towards the door so we could walk out into the main part of the bus. It was fairly late and we still had a show tomorrow so all of the guys were in their bunks, asleep I assume unless Ashley somehow got a girl in here tonight. I walked over and turned on one of the lamps and sat down on the small couch, Ella sat across from her. “You needed to talk about somethi-” She cut my sentence off.

“I saw Skylar and Johnnie kissing!” She half way yelled out as if she had been holding it in all of her life. She bit down on her lip and looked down at the floor, almost ashamed of what she had said. It took me a second to process what she just said. I could feel a lump in my throat now and I bit down on my lip as well. Was she serious?

“A-Are you sure?” I finally said, I could feel my whole body getting hot and sweaty, my palms clammy and my hair starting to stick to my burning forehead. I fidgeted with my hands and waited for an answer. I looked up again and she nodded slowly.
