Forever Us

---Andy’s POV---

I finally arrived at the hospital. I got out and went to the back door, grabbing Skylar bridal style out of the back seat. I heard Aaron get out and he was walking quickly behind me. Normally I would’ve slowed my pace for him considering he has smaller legs than me, but I couldn’t afford to waste anytime right now. We walked inside and immediately the receptionist saw us and pushed a button on the wall, soon a few men came out with a gernie and they took her away from me. They told me I wasn’t allowed back with her while they worked their magic I guess so I sat down in the waiting room with Aaron.

“Hey, buddy, it’s going to be okay…” I tried reassuring him. He shrugged and continued to cry. After two and a half hours went by Aaron had finally decided he should sleep, he laid his head down on my shoulder and closed his eyes. I pulled out my phone and called Ashley. He answered after a few rings.

“Hey, man.” I didn’t realized how weak I sounded until I began to talk.

“Hey… are you okay? What’s wrong, dude?” Ashley asked, reffering to my voice.

“Can you just… Skylar, that girl I talked to you about… she’s at the hospital right now I-” I began to say but Ashley’s emotions took over, interrupting me.

“Oh my god! I’m so sorry! What’s wrong?! Is she okay?! Are you okay?!” He shouted. I held the phone back for a second, I think he busted my eardrum which is pretty hard considering how many concerts I go to and am at constantly.

“I’m fine, she’s not. Can you please just come here and pick up Aaron, take him to your house, make sure he gets something to eat and have him sleep for a bit… he saw everything, make sure he’s stable.” I said, trying to act calm. I wasn’t in all actuality.

“Yeah, sure, Andyboo.” He said. God damn it, I hated it when he called me that, it was a small nickname I picked up I guess.

“Don’t. Just come pick him up.” I growled.

“Calm down, just trying to make light of the subject… which hospital?” He asked.

“UCLA Medical Center.” I bit my lip, hoping he’d know which one I was talking about.

He hung up the phone and I put my mine in my back pocket. I sighed, not know how to tell Aaron what was going on. And I highly doubted he would leave without a fight.

“Okay, Aaron,” I turned to him. “Can you please… Ashley, my friend, is going to come pick you up. You don’t have to go to school today, alright?” I closed my eyes, waiting for the retaliation.

“Okay, fine… but… can you make sure my mom is okay, please…” He said, looking down. I opened my eyes and let out the air I didn’t know I was holding in. Luckily he didn’t throw the fit I was expecting.

“Yeah.” I smiled and brushed the hair out of his eyes. He let out a sigh too and set his head back down on my shoulder. I smiled and closed my eyes too.

I woke up to a large slap on the back of my head. “Ow!” I yelped and jolted forward a bit. I looked behind me to see Ashley standing there with Aaron.

“We’re leaving now.” Was all Ashley said, not giving an explanation of the hit.

“Okay.” I mumbled and stood up out of the chair. I bent down and gave Aaron a big hug. I let go, then Ash and him left. I sat back down and closed my eyes again, waiting for the answers.
