ANDREW’S POV

I was looking at Skylar and she looked so pretty I couldn’t help myself, I bent down and I kissed her. She kissed back, unexpected, but I was glad she did, she didn’t seem repulsed. Thoughts were racing through my mind when I kissed her. What if this ruined our friendship?! Damn, she’s a good kisser. What if she hates me now?! I pulled back. I didn’t want to but what if this would ruin everything? I couldn’t take that chance. She gave me a shocked look, matching mine. I don’t know what she means with that shocked look. Oh god, yep, probably just ruined everything.

“I-I’m sorry, Sky.” I choked out. She nodded. Okay, that made me feel a little better about all of this.

I rolled off of her, and laid down beside her in the grass. It was dead silent, I didn’t know what to say, and I’m sure she didn’t know either.

“Music?” She offered, breaking the silence.

“Sure.” I said, trying to fake smile. I think she fell for it.

She turned on Beth by the band Kiss, I loved that band, and so did she. I looked over at her as she silently listened to music. She looked so beautiful, I don’t know what to think anymore. Skylar has been my friend forever, but never more than a friend and we never questioned it, I liked it that way, but these days I didn’t know what to think about that situation. Skylar has long black hair, with big floppy bangs, we used to kid around and I would call her floppy because of her bangs, she was pale, kind of short, grey eyes, anything I could ask for. I laughed at the thought of calling her Floppy again. I got up, this was getting boring.

“To the mall?” I asked.

“Sure.” She said with a glowing smile.

I held out my hand and helped her up, she stumbled into me a bit, and I caught her. I smiled, then turned and we both started walking towards my house to go get my car. We walked side by side and kept listening to music. Soon I looked up and my house was right there, I jogged up to the front porch and looked back to see Sky standing there, waiting and smiling. I opened the door, and Sky followed behind, we walked upstairs into my room to go get my car keys.

“Mom, we’re going to the mall, I have my phone, we’ll be back kind of soon.” I said as I came out of my room.

“Oh god, is it with that Skylark girl again?” She groaned, obviously not seeing Skylar behind me.

“It’s Skylar, and yes.” I corrected her.

“Ugh.” She grunted.

Skylar never had a problem with my mom not really liking her, I don’t know why. I shrugged, then walked towards the garage, and I could hear Sky following close behind. I finally saw my car. I was obsessed with my car, it was nice, my first car ever, Sky used to kid around and pretend like she was going to key it while we were in school. I opened up my door and got in, same for her. I started up the car and turned on the music and the first song that came up was my favorite song, Time To Waste by Alkaline Trio, I smiled and looked over at Sky, she knew exactly what I was doing.

“There's someone down below blowing you a kiss. They watch from their windows as all arms fall to their sides, and all eyes fix on the death of tomorrow.” I sang.

“And you found everything you need to make a life complete, completely revolting and they have safety and relief for sale down the street. I see you in line every day.” She continued.
Soon we finished the rest of the song together. The windows were down and her hair was blowing around like mad. Cute. I laughed, then the song finished just as we were parking, we got to the mall.

“Ready to go in?” I asked with a smile.

“Yep.” She replied.

Hey, guys! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting lately!!! A lot of things went on, and I just wasn't able to write or do much, but I'm back. So how are you guys enjoying the new series?
