The boy in the house opposite mine

Emma's POV:

"Hi dad." I stare at my dad. He's lying in a hospital bed wearing a hospital gown. "How was the operation?"
"I don't know. I was asleep, remember?" He chuckles. He looks at Andy. "Who's this?"
"This is Andy." I say blushing a little. I look at him and he smiles.
"Emma invited me because she didn't want to come alone." Andy says pointing at me. It's amazing how confident he is.
"Shut up." I nudge him. He laughs. I look at my dad and he's smiling. The images of him lying on the floor covered in blood and puke come into my head. "Look, dad, I need some air. I think I'm gonna go outside for a while."
"I'll come with you Em." Andy says grabbing my hand. We walk out hand in hand. I squeeze his hand once we get outside. "You okay?"
"No." I turn to look at him. He looks right at me. "I can't do this."
"Emma." Andy puts his arms around me and squeezes tightly. I do the same. A tear comes to my eye.
I hear a voice shouting Andy's name. He squeezes me one last time then lets go slowly. I look around and see Angeline staring at us.
"Andy!" She yells. Andy puts his arm around my shoulder. "I knew it! I knew that if you had a female friend, you'd end up together! I told you!"
"Angeline! let me explain!" Andy pleads. She notices the tears in my eyes and folds her arms. She looks willing to listen.
"We're in a hospital. Don't you think there could be some reason why he's being a good friend and comforting me?" I yell at Angeline. She looks at the floor.
"Sorry." She says.
"Come here." Andy says letting go of me and hugging Angeline. My heart sinks. Angeline winks at me over Andy's shoulder.
"He's mine" She mouths.
