The boy in the house opposite mine

Emma's POV:

"Hello?" My mother answers the phone. "Oh My God! Is he okay?! Yeah... We'll be right there."
"What?" I say as mom puts the phone down.
"It's dad." She grabs a coat "He ate something and it ripped his stitches out!"

When we get to the hospital, the nurses won't let us in. We wait 20 minutes before they let my mom in to see him. I wait for 5 minutes before deciding to phone Andy to tell him about it. The phone rings and rings until someone finally picks up.
"Andy's phone." A girls voice picks up. "This is Angeline."
"I-is Andy there?" I stutter. My heart sinks.
"Oh. Emma?" Angeline replies. "Yeah, no, Andy's in the shower. Can I help you?"
"Not really. Can you tell him I called?" I try to sound nice.
"Um, no." Angeline says rudely. "I'm his girlfriend not his messenger."
"You don't have to be like that. We're friends. I just wanted to speak to him."
"Whatever, Emma." Angeline says. "Just don't even think about talking to my Andy ever again. Or else. Understand?"
I hang up.
