Devils Daughters

*Jesse POV*

"Hey!" We heard someone yell as we ran out of the bathroom. Ali and I looked to see it was Ashley flagging us down.

"This way! Come on," Andy shouted from next to him.

Ali had the explosives set up on a delay, so the next two went off just as we were passing the supply closet. Bad timing I guess. She was on the other side of me so when the door blew up it mostly just hit me, but I didn't even notice. It wasn't that bad, mostly because we were just barely past it when it blew.

"Are you girls okay?" Andy asked as he grabbed Ali's hand and started leading her down the hall.

"Yeah I think so," I said as Ashley led me.

"What the fuck is going on?" Ali asked, feigning curiosity.

"I have no idea," Andy answered.

We ran through the back hallways and out of a door, gathering with the rest of the guys and the crew out by the bus.

"You girls can stay with us for now," Andy said a little protectively.

"Thanks," we both replied.

"Jesse, you're bleeding," Ali said as she looked at me. I hadn't done any blood make up on either of us?

"Here, come with me," Ashley said as he took me onto the bus. "Here, you can clean yourself off in there," he said as he showed me the bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror, noticing the gash on my arm. I guess the door got me better than I had thought.

I 'cleaned' my face, careful not to remove too much of the makeup and blow the whole 'hit with random debris' thing, then Ashley came in and helped me with my arm. I washed it off and he placed a bandage on it for me.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Jesse," I smiled as I stood up. He wasn't expecting that, or he was and just didn't move, though; because when I stood up I was almost face to face with him, minus the fact that I was a good six or so inches shorter than him. Any closer and I would have been able to feel his heartbeat.

"I should go check on my sister," I said as I turned around, fixing my hair real quick. He was still in that same spot, though, so my butt grazed his hip when I turned. He set a hand on the small of my back and when I finished 'dusting myself off' he led me back off of the bus.

"Hey AliCat. How are you?" I asked as we stepped outside. "I don't see any blood," I smiled.

Andy pulled out a pack of smokes and I asked to bum one.

"You shouldn't smoke," Ashley commented.

"I don't normally, I use a vape. But given what just happened, I think one is okay," I replied as I took the lighter and cigarette from Andy. Ashley just looked at me, his hand still on my back, though now it hand shifted a little more to my hip.

"I'm fine. How are you guys?" Ali answered my original question, and then looked to the guys.

I noticed our positioning, Ali and I were leaning against the bus at the moment. Ashley was next to me facing Andy, who was on Ali's other side. He was also leaning against the bus with one hand.

"I'm good. I think Jake Jinxx and CC are good. I just wanna know what the fuck is going on," Andy stated.

"You guys seem awfully calm," I pointed out.

"We were in Japan when the earthquake hit. This barely comes close to that," Ashley chuckled.

"Fair enough," I said as I took a drag off my cig.

"What was on the intercom before the boom?" Ali asked.

"Yeah I heard that too. I couldn't understand it but I heard it," I added.

"It was some guys voice," Ashley started.

"'I'm coming for you Andy and Ashley. You can run but I love the chase' or some shit like that," Andy recited.

"Any idea what it means?" I inquired.

"No clue," Ashley answered.

"Well then, is it safe for you two to be standing openly like this? Maybe we should go get some coffee or something while people try to figure out what's going on?" Ali offered.

"Yeah, that sounds kind of like a threat," I said.

"Hey, so we are gonna have to reschedule the show. The venue is fucked," one of the people from the crew said as he walked over to us.

"Well then," Andy started. He and Ashley were clearly thinking about whether or not to take us up on our offer.

We needed them to say yes in order to get to phase four of the plan, which was to take them to our house. First phase three had to be finished, which was to get them alone, away from the rest of the group.

Just then we heard something that sounded like a gunshot to the shook up boys. Andy immediately pulled Ali to him, squatting the two of them low to the ground as he attempted to cover her. Ashley just jumped in front of me, pinning me to the bus, his free hand now at my side. I just looked up into his eyes as he didn't bother moving. He was looking at me as well

"It was just a car backfiring at that light," CC shouted from the other end of the bus.

Ashley cracked a smile, as did I, but he didn't move until Andy and Ali stood back up.

"We are parked right over here," Ali said pointing to our car. Ashley moved and turned to look where Ali pointed, and then looked to Andy, who was still debating the decision to go for coffee.

I just looked over to Ali, nervously hoping they would agree. We needed them to.

I have no idea what I'm writing. It's 3:330 am and I have a serious case of stroke brain right now. Sorry if that sucked. Raz is a better writer than I am, sorry. ♡♡♡
