She had heard something like that before. Me first! No me! She jumped up startled as she felt someone grab her shoulder. “Sorry didn’t mean to scare you.” “No, it’s okay.” “Care to go on a walk with me?” She was going to say no, she didn’t want to go anywhere with Valentin, but her mom’s stare said otherwise. “Sure.” She picked the plates up and put them in the sink. “We’ll be back in a few.” “Be careful.” Kaili grabbed a flower tiara she had made a few days ago and put it on, she grabbed her pale black cardigan and followed Valentin out the door. She skipped to the elevator door and pushed the down button.
Valentin let out a sigh of relief as he took his terra cotta red beanie out from his backpack and put it on. His light black hair popping out of it, it looked, nice. Very cute. He looked like a model. “Sorry about that. I know I probably acted like a total douche back there. But my parents ugh.” “Ah I see a façade. But why?” “With my parents work, I have to meet a lot of whinny bitches. My parents warned me about that, they know I’m not like this, but they have no other choice. So I have to be this totally rad gentlemen, a prince charming type. I’m none of that, but it’s to make my parents look good.” They walked into the elevator and Kaili pushed the button that would take them to the lobby. “I see.” “But when I met you and I heard the way you expressed yourself I knew I had done the wrong thing showing you that fake part of me. I’m sorry. I feel very embarrassed, cause it’s so stupid. I hate the guys that are like that. ““Don’t worry about it. With these parents it’s tough.” “Yeah. Ashley played with the ear piece as he waited. Andy smiled at him, “I sure hope I don’t have to get near you again.” Ashley chuckled, “I know what you mean. Those fans just keep getting crazier and crazier.” “Did you read the fan fiction Jinxx found yesterday?” “Yeah! What is up with teenagers now a days? Those stories have a lot of explicit content, I didn’t even know description could go that far.” Jake chuckled as he opened his water bottle, “That’s what you two get for being next to each other in almost every show.” “It’s not every show.” “It not our fault I can hear what Andy has to say.” CC walked into the changing room swinging his drum sticks around. “wow, that crowd is wild.” “Where’s James?” “He took Casey back to the hotel room, she wasn’t feeling well.” Jinxx laughed, “I wouldn’t blame her. She drank a lot yesterday. At least she’ll keep Sammi company.” “I doubt she’s going to be good company right now.” “I think Sammi is going to be her nurse for the day.” Jinxx grinned. Jake laughed, “He’s probably imagining Sammi in a nurse outfit.” “A hot nurse outfit.” The guys laughed and Jinxx blinked, “What?” “Nothing.” CC sat down and frowned, “She was crying pretty hard yesterday.” “What girl wouldn’t? She thought her boyfriend was dead.” “And to top that off she finds out Zo-Kathie didn’t come to the UK willingly.”
The guys froze and looked at Andy. Jake frowned, “Sorry man, I didn’t mean to bring her up.” Andy shrugged, “It’s okay. We can’t help it, she became very important to us in a few months.” Ashley patted his back, “We’ll find her man.” “Yeah, you know she’s not easy to bring down. “ Jinxx grinned, “And if we don’t find her, you always have Ashley.” The guys chuckled, “That was low.” CC wrapped his arms around Andy and Ashley. “We gotta admit, they make a lovely couple.” The guys laughed once again. James walked in, “You’re up guys.” CC started to play invisible drums as he walked out the door. “Show time!” “Let’s sing out hearts out.” “For Kathie.” The guys stopped and looked at each other. Andy smiled, “For Kathie.” “She always wanted to be the one cheering us on from backstage.” “And she will.” “Soon.” “Soon…” “For Kathie,” the band said in unison as they ran on to stage.
