Kaili let herself fall on her bed as she threw her backpack near the bathroom door. Angela grinned and set her backpack down near her makeup table. “The ceremony was awesome.” Kaili stared at her friend, “No, it was boring, just like the rest of the day. I can’t believe you made me go. We never do anything on the first day of class.” “Kai-chan don’t be like that. Why do you hate school so much?” Because I feel I’m missing someone special. Kaili blinked confused, why had she thought that? There was a knock on the door and Kaili froze. No, not this again. Angela opened the door and smiled at the school nurse. “Kon'nichiwa Aisaka Senpai.” The nurse smiled and looked at Kaili. “I’ve felt great this month. Do I really have to take them?” The nurse nodded and handed the tray to Kaili. Kaili grabbed the cup of water and then the pill. She put the pill in her mouth then took a huge gulp of water. She felt the pill go down her throat and felt her muscles tightening. The nurse looked at her, “What? Oh yeah,” she opened her mouth and watched as the nurse looked. The nurse nodded as she grabbed the tray and left. Angela looked at Kaili, “why do you have to take those?” “It’s supposed to help with my memory loss.” “I don’t think it’s really helping. Don’t you start to forget stuff right after you take it?” Kaili shrugged as grabbed her pillow. “The doctor said those are side effects.” “I’m not so sure about that…” Kaili rolled her eyes, “You need to stop watching movies.” “But Kai-” “Shh, I need to take a nap.” Angela frowned. “Yoshi!”
Kaili frowned in her sleep. In her dream she and Angela were on the beach. They were running around and having fun with a few classmates. Kaili screamed as she felt someone pick her up, she felt herself flying as someone threw her in the water. She started to swim to the surface and stared at Ikuto. She knew he had been the one who had thrown her in the water. Angela pushed Ikuto and he fell in. She and Kaili laughed, and ran as Ikuto started to chase them. It was a pleasant dream. Kaili stopped as she heard music? She walked to the hotel she was staying at, and as she got closer, the music got louder. It was Rock, metal? Kaili didn’t really know the difference; she hated that type of music. That’s when she started hearing the voices. It was one word after another, sometimes over lapping each other. “Princess…” “Andy!” “Jinxx…” “Ashley…” “I believe in you.” “Cause it’s the end…” “Jake…” “I’ll catch you.” “Do you trust me?” “CC!” “Resurrect…” “Juliet!” “The…” “I’ll never…” “End.” “Let you…” “Sammi…” “Down…” Kaili felt her head was about to explode. There were too many voices, all screaming, calling out, at the same time. She could hardly make out some of the words. She couldn’t take it anymore, she screamed.
Kaili sat up breathing heavily, sweat threatening to choke her. Angela looked at her confused. Kaili saw Angela had the TV on, she was watching, a movie? Her laptop was turned on and she was watching an interview, her phone was also playing music. No wonder Kaili had been dreaming with voices, Angela was watching and listening to the same thing.” “What the hell Angie!?” “Why do you have your TV, laptop, and music on all at the same time?” “It’s Black Veil Brides?” “What?” “It’s the band I keep telling you about.” “Well your band made me have a nightmare!” Kaili watched the TV as the words she heard in hear dream started to pop up. “I’ll never, let you down. She looked at the laptop as she heard a deep chuckle, “Yes, our new album will be released next week…” Angela screamed and she jumped up and down excited, “Yes! New album, I have to buy it. Wait…” She opened a new window, “Gotta put it on hold…” She watched as there was a close up of the guy talking. “Who is he?” Angela looked at the screen grinning, “That’s Andy Biersack. Isn’t he a hottie? He’s the lead singer and he writes almost all of the songs.” Kaili nodded as she looked into his icy blue eyes, “He looks…sad.” Angela looked at the screen confused, “Really? Nah.” Kaili continued to look at him, he did look sad, she figured he would be happy for a new album release. “Maybe he is, he broke up with his girlfriend Juliet a few months ago.” Kaili shook her head, “Will you turn all that off! It’s giving me a head ache, all that screaming, and the guitars.” “Well damn, calm down.”
Once Angela had turned everything off, she looked at Kaili. “We should go buy our notebooks.” “What for?” “For tomorrow.” Kaili rolled her eyes, “Tomorrow is the first day. We never do anything on the first day.” Angela looked at Kaili surprised. “What?” “Don’t you remember?” “Remember what?” Angela frowned, “Kaili, today was the first day of school!” “No it wasn’t.” Angela handed her phone to Kaili. “Look at the wallpaper, it’s us, at the ceremony.” Kaili looked at the phone and frowned, “I…I can’t remember that. Are you sure…” “Yes, I’m sure.” “Well damn, I hope the nurse gets here soon with my medicine.” “You already took it.” “You’re kidding.” “No.” Angela pointed at the empty plastic cup in the trash bin.
