Kathie shook her head, “I don’t care what happened in the past! You killed my parents, in front of me, I saw the bullets go through their skulls, I saw the splatter of blood, I saw them drop dead on the floor! How could you be so damn heartless?” “I had to get my revenge; she took my life away, my baby, so I did the same thing. And you can’t tell me I treated you badly, I gave you everything. And this is how you repay me? Sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night and leaving with Dennis.” Tammy shook her head frowning. “I had to do something about that. I had to take you away from him, I can see he’s already tainted you with his darkness.” She looked at the tattoo Kathie had on her wrist. It was a small purple butterfly. It represented Kathie’s freedom a freedom she was sure she was about to lose. “I asked him to be there for me when I got it done.” Tammy shook her head. “That’s unacceptable, I’m afraid I’m going to have to punish you for that.” “You can’t do that! You have no control over me anymore, I’m eighteen!” “I will always have control over you Zoey Parker. You’re my daughter and I will protect you until the day I die.” “Andy will come and save me.” Tammy laughed, “Dennis can’t do anything. Actually, I think it’s about time he stops being a burden.”


Kathie froze and she felt her blood leaving her face. “No,” She whispered. “Don’t lay a hand on Andy!” Tammy smirked, “I don’t know what you see in him. He’s always been rather annoying, ever since he was little. I watched the way he treated you. I don’t see how you tolerated him.” “He has always been nice to me, he’s my best friend.” “I thought James was your best friend.” She shrugged, “I guess you needed a new one, after what happened to him. But why him, why Dennis?” Tammy shook her head disappointed. Kathie looked at Tammy confused, James wasn’t dead. He was with her; of course he had completely changed after they had run away. Didn’t Tammy know that her plan to exterminate James had failed? “-Yes, I think I’ll kill him myself.” Kathie looked at Tammy, what was she talking about? “He won’t be able to find you then, and we can all live like the happy family we used to be.” “No, please! Don’t, don’t hurt him.” Tammy looked at her daughter frowning, “Zoey, you’re begging for a boy. A boy who isn’t worth anything.” Kathie felt tears running down her face, Tammy couldn’t kill Andy, she just couldn’t. If Andy died, she would too. “Please, mommy, don’t hurt Andy.” Tammy frowned and let out a soft sigh. “Very well. But you have to do everything I say, okay?” Kathie nodded, she would do anything to keep Andy safe. “First off…” Tammy stood up looking at Kathie. “You’re starting to look a lot like Amy. We’ll have to change that.” Kathie nodded, “Yes, do whatever you want.” Tammy grinned, “Dave, Dave, she’s ready!!”


Kathie watched as Dave slowly walked towards her, a needle in his hand. She looked at Tammy who grinned. “Wh-what are you going to do?” Tammy took the needle and let out a soft sigh, “I wish I didn’t have to do this sweetie, but you leave me no other choice. It will be the best for all of us. No one will ever take you away from us now.” Kathie screamed and tried to get away as Tammy put the needle close to her. “Daddy, daddy do something!!” “Hold her still!” Dave looked away from Kathie as he held her wrist down. “No, wait, stop it!!” Kathie screamed out in pain as she felt the needle go through her arm. She tried to shake free, but she felt herself getting weak. No, she had to get away from her. Andy, she had to find Andy.
