A New Beginning

Laser tag. Really!? This is the surprise!? Ugh, this sucks. I'd rather go paint balling or something. I sigh as Ben, Andy, and me head to the front desk to get our laser guns. I've never done this before, but it seems kind of boring. Running around in the dark trying to shoot each other, spells out lovely to me...

Andy hooks his arm around mine. "Come on partner, let's go shoot some people. Ben decided to go on the other team." We go into this dark room with glow in the dark stars and space ships all over the place. It looks actually really cool. Andy grabs me hand and pulls me down towards the floor. "What?" I ask. He puts a finger up to his lips. He peeks over the top of the short wall we are hiding behind. He shoots at someone and I hear a loud beep. "I got him!" He smiles and high fives me. He grabs my hand again and pulls me to my feet.

I see someone out of the corner of my eye from the opposite team. I quickly point my gun towards them and shoot. Damn, I missed them. Andy and me crouch down and slowly walk around the corner. I'm actually starting to feel adrenaline flow through my veins. This is quite fun. Also, I'm really liking Andy grabbing my hand.

All of a sudden I hear Andy's vest thing starts beeping. "Ugh, who got me?" Ben stands up from where he was hiding. "Got'cha!" Ben lightly punches him in the arm. "You sneaky bastard!" Andy says with this huge smile on his face. "Wanna go another round?" Andy asked me. I smirk, "I assume."

Well, what turned into another round turned into seven or eight. By the time we got out the sun had already set. "So did you have fun?" Ben asked. "Yeah! It was a blast!" Ben smiles, "I'm glad, I had fun too."

On the way home Andy turns to me and starts blabbing about how if a zombie apocalypse started he would totally be the last one. As he was going on about how he could dodge zombies with his gazelle legs, I noticed Ben staring a him from the corner of his eye. Nah, he's probably staring at me. Why would he be staring at Andy like that...?
