A New Beginning
Chapter 21
Three weeks it's been since I bumped into Kara in the guys locker room. I thought she was just a pretty face. But, now I know she is so much more than that...she has a pretty nice ass as well. I smirk at her as she's running after Andy to get her sweat-shirt back. It's early June, but today is a bit chilly out. "Ashley! Don't just stand there help me get him! His gazelle legs are much quicker than mine!" On second thought, she has some pretty long, luscious legs as well...
Believe it or not, but actually, one of the things I love most about Kara is how she handles everything. How she takes things with ease and never really gets mad at anyone. Like right now, she's not mad. She's smiling like a fool and laughing her head off. Even though he took her sweatshirt and it's a bit chilly out.
Kara isn't mine though, and I don't think she would want me. Besides, her and Andy get along like sex and whip cream, very well. Her and me get along real well as well, but I'm not sure I'm the one she wants, or needs. Summer is almost here, so that means I get a chance at trying to get her to fall in love with me. But, I have to leave tomorrow to see family. My plane leaves tonight, so I thought we'd all hang out till then.
Kara trips him and quickly zips her sweatshirt off of him before he regains his balance. "Haha, I got it!" She jumps in victory, waving it back and forth. A smile creeps across my face at how excited she is, even though she's out of breath. "Fine, you win." Andy says in defeat. Andy's phone starts ringing in his pocket. He answers it and walks over by the deck. Kara sits up next to me on the picnic table. "So, how's your family doing?" A glimpse of curiosity in her tone of voice. "They say they're doing alright, they just miss me a lot. I haven't visited in a few months now." I smile at her. Taking in her beautiful eyes. "I would assume they'd miss you a lot since your on tour for many months at a time. I'm glad you're going to visit them, don't let me hog you all to myself." I chuckle at her last sentence. She scoots closer to me "I know it's only going to be two weeks, but I'm going to miss you." A small, soft smile spreads across her lips as she says this.
"I hope it doesn't seem like I like Andy better, or something. Because, you two I love equally. You two make me so happy. You and your pervertedness really brings a smirk to my face." I put my hand on her knee. "Well, I hope you know I'm going to be missing you a lot. These have been the best three weeks I've had in quite some time, Kara. All because of you." I look down and my feet and smirk. I feel really shy all of a sudden. And, my heart's racing. What's getting into me?
Andy walks up to us when Kara was about to say something. "It turns out CC is coming early. His flight lands in two hours, so I'm about to head up to the airport now. Since it takes about an hour to get there. I'll be back here in time to take you to the airport Ash. See ya guys." We say our goodbyes as he leaves.
