Remembering Yesterday

Zoey laid on Jake’s bed. She couldn’t believe Andy was doing this! She knew her parents would send him to jail if they had the chance. They were very important business people, which meant they had money and money equaled power. She looked up as she heard a whistle. She walked to the front of the bus, “What is it?” She looked out the window and saw a long line of cars. “It looks like there’s traffic.” CC stood on his tip toes trying to see past all the cars. “I think I see police sirens.” Zoey froze. Her parents were going way over the top with this. “Think we can drive around them?” Andy looked at John their manager and he let out a soft sigh. “I think this is going too far. We should let her walk to the police and leave.” “No way! I said I’d take her home and that’s what I plan on doing.” “Andrew….” Andy stared at John. John saw the rest of guys were also looking at him. He shook his head. He started looking something up on his phone and after a few minutes he looked at the drive, “Take the next turn back and I’ll tell you where to go from there.” The guys cheered and hugged John. Zoey shook her head and looked out the window. She didn’t want anything to happen to the guys. Andy’s phone rang and he picked up. “Hello? I’m fine babe, don’t-” “How did they find you? Well okay you didn’t tell them-” “Good. Are you okay though? Good. Don’t worry I’ll be fine. I like her that’s why. She reminds me of someone. An old friend…yeah her. You know I won’t do that. Be careful, I’ll see you soon. Yeah. Love you.” Everyone looked at Andy confused. “It was Juliet. She said the police found her and told her if she knew where I was. Of course she denied everything and told them she just made a quick stop before going to visit my parents. That I was on my way to meet them and she had no idea who Zoey was. So we’re good for a while longer.” Zoey walked back to the back of the RV. She couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Zoey looked at Andy frowning. “You’re not taking me home. I’ll walk.” He walked out of the RV grinning. “Do you know how many girls would kill to be in your spot right now?” “I don’t care about that!” CC grinned as he walked out heading into Subway. “Good luck.” Zoey yelled at him as he walked inside, “Don’t encourage him!” Andy laughed as two girls instantly walked up to Jinxx. “Look what you’ve done you just called him out. Now we’ll have a lot of fan girls in a few minutes.” “Don’t try to blame me! He just walked right in like he owned the place.” “You practically announced his entrance.” Zoey scowled and Andy grabbed her hand. “Come on we should get going before the fans get here. Then the police will come to see what’s going on and they’ll catch us and we’ll all go to jail.” Zoey pushed Andy away and she made a run for it. Andy followed screaming her name.
Zoey had run about three blocks when she stopped hearing sirens a few feet away. She looked around seeing nowhere to hide. “Shit!” “Zoey!” She ran back to Andy and put a hand over his mouth. “Shh!!” He looked at her confused, “Don’t you hear the sirens?” Andy looked at her and his eyes widened a few seconds later. “Yeah, and there’s nowhere to hid. Andy moved away and grinned, “There’s only one thing left to do.” She looked at him confused. He took her hand and he ran to a house with a huge bush. He hid behind him pulling Zoey with him. “Wow, nice hiding place.” Andy rolled his eyes, “Just deal with it.” “None of this would have happened if you had left me where I told you to!” Andy grinned, “Hey I’m not complaining. This is actually pretty fun.” Zoey rolled her eyes and Andy pulled her close turning his back to the police lights that started to pass. Zoey saw the police lights from underneath Andy’s elbow. She saw the police cars slowly patrol the street. One of the cars stopped in front of the bush and rolled the window down. “No signs of your daughter ma’am.” “Well keep looking, she has to be out there!” “Alright Mr. Parker.” “There’s been a report of what seems like a mob of kids in front of a subway.” “Alright, we’re on our way.” Zoey watched as the police cars started to drive away.
“We have to get home quick, before they get to the guys.” Andy nodded and he held her hand. “Lead the way.” A few minutes later they were standing a few feet from Zoey’s house. “Well thanks for bringing me here Andy.” She hugged him and made her way to her house. Andy followed her and she looked back as she felt someone following. “What are you doing?” “Well I think it would be very polite if I left you at your front door.” She stared at him, “Do you want to get arrested?” He shrugged, “Not like I’m not going to get arrested as soon as I get back with the guys.” She let out a soft sigh and continued walking. She knew she wasn’t going to get rid of him. Mr. Parker opened her front door deciding to go look for her daughter. She stopped as she saw Zoey with a tall young man. Mr. Parker looked at the man who wore all black. She grabbed her daughter and pushed her inside. Andy stared at the woman whom he guessed was Zoey’s mom. His eyes widened as he really saw her. He knew her, he just knew it! Mr. Parker took a step back as she looked into the boy’s icy blue eyes. She quickly regained herself and stared at him. “I want you to stay away from my daughter do you hear!?” Andy stared at her. “I found her in the middle of a clearing, I thought she was hurt. I decided to bring her back home when she saw her car wasn’t where she left it.” Mr. Parker laughed humorously. “And you expect me to believe that!? I don’t care what you think. I’m sending you to jail for kidnapping!” “You have no proof!” “Oh but I do. You just gave me that proof by walking her to my doorstep. And that’s an obvious sign that she was with you!”
