Together We'll Set The World On Fire

“What?” I asked in shock sitting up uneasily.
“Carolyn.” Andy seethed running his fingers through his thick hair.
“What happened?” Ashley asked in a suddenly interested voice. Whatever Carolyn did PISSED Andy off, I would have been terrified if it were me. I’m still a bit afraid and he’s not even mad at me.
“She lied.” Andy said his voice cracked as he put his face in his hand.
“Lied?” I asked, must have been a pretty big lie. “About what?”
“About our baby.” Andy whispered as his body was racked with sobs.
“It wasn’t yours… was it?” I sighed getting up and sitting down next to Andy while Ashley went to get drinks.
“No.” Andy shook his head.
“How did you find out?” Ashley asked handing us each a jack and coke.
Andy removed his face from his hands, his face stained with tears and makeup. “She had got up to go to the bathroom and left her phone. She received a text from a doctor she’s apparently been visiting. The doctor’s text said that my DNA and the baby’s didn’t match up.” Andy said wiping his eyes.
“Oh my god Andy. I’m so sorry.” I said linking my arm in his.
“Thanks sissy,” That soured me up. “So then I got confused and searched her texts and recent calls there was one that she had been calling an awful lot but no texts so I thought I’d call the number just to see.”
“So I called the number from Carolyn’s phone and a man picked up. And he answered with Hey Baby.” Andy said. “She’s been cheating on me the entire time we’ve been in L.A.”
ME and Ashley could only stare open mouthed. Even I thought Carolyn was better than that… or at least wasn’t stupid enough to cheat… or cruel enough.
“So then I asked him who he was. He told me is name is Marcus Hill, a club manager. He asked me the same thing and I told him I was Carolyn’s boyfriend.” Andy said. “Marcus didn’t’ angry… he was confused and asked me to meet him at his club, tonight.”
“God Andy,” Ashley said rubbing his back. “Are you gonna go?”
“Yes. We need to sort this out.” Andy said firmly.
“If you think we’re going to let you beat a person up for Carolyn’s fuck ups think again.” I warned him icily before adding. “You already punched Ashley out last week.”
“I said I was sorry! It turns out you were lying to me the entire time.” Andy snapped at me.
“Hey! Cut it out both of you!” Ashley said wiggling himself in between us. “Harp, that was rude of you to throw that in Andy’s face. Andy, me and Harper slept together once and it was under the influence of alcohol.”
“It was immature of me. I’m sorry.” I said the words I’m used to saying to Andy practically every time I opened my mouth.
“I’m sorry, I have a hard time forgiving.” Andy said. That comment rubbed me in the wrong way. We didn’t do anything wrong, as if it was any of his business.
I narrowed my eyes at him but kept my trap shut.
“Back on the subject of meeting this Marcus Hill, me and Harper are coming.” Ashley said.
“What?!” Andy asked.
“Yeah you need someone there to support you and me and Harper were looking for something to do tonight anyway.” Ashley encouraged.
“Thanks guys.” Andy breathed.
“We’re your family and family supports each other no matter what.” I said meaning every word. “Even when they don’t approve or agree.”
“Thanks sissy.” Andy put his arm around me.
I actually yelped.
“What’s wrong?!” Andy asked hurriedly.
“Sorry I’m just a bit tender for some reason.” I lied quickly.
“Okay…” Andy looked a little concerned.
“Well you’re welcome to stay here for the rest of the afternoon but me and Harper are going to lunch. If you want you come.” Ashley said.
“Why don’t we all go to Jinxx and Sammi’s?” I suggested.
“That’s a great idea.” Ashley smiled at me, it was a knowing smile.
“Well Good.” I smiled back. “Come on you big galoot.” I told Andy as I got to my feet.
I put on my jacket and sunglasses while Ashley went to grab his phone in the bedroom.
We all walked outside and took a taxi’s to Jinxx’s.
Ashley opened the door without bothering to knock and screamed “YO SAMANTHA”
“That’s Sammi to you bucko.” She grinned coming out of the kitchen “What are you all doing here?”
“We came for lunch woman, get back in the kitchen.” Ashley grinned.
“Shut it Purdy I can still kick your ass. Or better yet have Jinxx do it for me.” Sammi said warningly waving her wooden spoon at Ashley.
“I’m older than both of you.” Ashley stuck his tongue out.
“Doesn’t make you better, if anything it makes us better old man!” Sammi laughed.
“Hey I’m only 28.” Ashley grinned.
“Hey Darling,” Sammi came over to me and kissed my cheek. “How are you holding up?”
“Fine thanks.” I said looking over at Ashley who winked at me.
“Andy surprised to see you here, weren’t you and Carolyn going shopping today?” Sammi asked.
Wrong time...
So Andy told her the story and by the end of it Sammi’s face was as white as a sheet.
“Shit!” Andy suddenly swore.
We all looked at him from our seats. We had finished eating lunch, courtesy of Sammi who had made some sort of Chinese noodle salad.
“I have to be at the club!” Andy said.
“Let’s go.” Ashley nodded hugging Sammi and thanking her for the food.
I did the same and we all split the hell out of there to the club.
“At least it’s pretty empty.” I said as we walked into the dimly lit club.
There were a couple girls up on stage doing their things with their customer’s watching.
I expected this to distract Ashley but he didn’t even glance in the girls’ direction.
“Are you Andy Biersack?” A man asked.
