Together We'll Set The World On Fire

We all turned to look at Andy. “What are you talking about?” Ashley asked rather rudely.
Andy just shook his head in distress and walked out. “I’ll be right back.” Ashley sighed getting up.
I didn’t want Ashley to leave but I suddenly remembered that Ashley and Andy were best friends so of course Ashley had to see what was going on with Andy.
Jinxx took Ashley’s spot next to me and asked. “How are you feeling?”
That was a bit of a stupid question but I knew he was just making conversation.
“Well I’d like to know what’s going on with my head.” I said. “It’s like the more I spend time talking about my past the more I remember on my own.”
“Well that’s good!” Jinxx encouraged.
“Do you remember my name honey?” The girl asked.
She was a darling little thing with brightly colored hair.
“You’re… Sam?” I asked straining my brains to remember when the word was suddenly whispered in the back of my mind.
“Samantha but I always like being call—“
I cut her off finishing her sentence “Sammi.”
“Yes!” She cried happily
A scene floats into my mind of me lying facedown in a pillow crying that my life was over and Sammi saying she’ll help me come up with ways to tell Ashley he was a father.
It must have been because I was distraught that Ashley had a baby… I wondered.
“Did Ashley have a baby?” I asked. “With a girl I mean?”
“Yeah…” Sammi looked suddenly tearful. “It was yours.”
“MINE!?” I nearly screamed. “I didn’t know me and Ashley were a thing…?” I half whispered racking my brains for any memory of this.
“It was an accident.” C.C. spoke up. “Me, you, Jake and Ashley went out clubbing and got totally trashed.”
“Then you and Ashley went home but somehow ended up at a hotel and together…” C.C. looked embarrassed.
“And ended up screwing each other apparently.” Jake added making C.C. glare at him.
I could only just sit there in awe.
“You came to me when you missed your period and took the test.” Sammi spoke up. “You came out positive.”
“Oh my god.” I whispered in a dead voice. “So I’m pregnant?”
“… I think that’s something you and Ashley should talk about alone.” Sammi said quietly.
I was confused.
At that moment Ashley decided to return with Andy in tow.
“Ashley, Harper and you need to talk… alone.” Sammi said quickly taking Jinxx by the hand and motioning for the rest of the band to follow.
I just remembered their band name!

My euphoria was short lived because Ashley ordered everyone out of the room.
“So we’re having a baby…” I said after Ashley had sat down heavily.
“Not quite, love.”
“Well it’s either one or the other.” I said a little impatiently.
“We were going to have a baby.” Ashley said.
“Are you tearing up?” I asked looking at Ashley’s red rimmed eyes. “What do you mean were?”
“You miscarried our baby when they shocked your heart back up… there was nothing they could do.” Ashley said starting to almost weep.
“So I lived at the price of a helpless infant.” I said now understanding why Ashley was crying as I was starting to myself.
“No no! Harper, love, they did all they could but it is in no way your fault!” Ashley insisted taking my hand.
“I know it’s irrational to think so but I can’t help it.” I said trying to blink back tears. Just another life that was hurt because of me.
“Harper, please don’t freak out on me when I say this but, I want you to know if I couldn’t have both of you I’m glad I at least got to keep you.” Ashley said cautiously. “Do you remember what you said to me before you collapsed after the hospital scene?”
“I’m sorry Ash… I can’t” I couldn’t no matter how hard I racked my brains to figure it out.
Ashley’s gaze dropped to his shoes. He looked slightly crestfallen.
“It’s okay, love.” Ashley attempted a smile which came out as more of a grimace.
“I’m sorry.” I whispered again wanting to comfort him.
“You have nothing to apologize for, love.” Ashley said quietly and kissed my cheek tenderly.

Sorry if this is a wee bit boring for you XD
But i assure you it's going to get more interesting within the next chapter hopefully ;)
and a spoiler for you Harper will get her memories back in full including those with Ashley and Andy especially.
