Dark Magick
Prologue
Having heard more than enough complaints to last a lifetime about how he hated when his hair wouldn’t behave or he kept fucking up on his makeup, a young Andy Biersack decided to teach his best friend and bandmate, Ashley Purdy, a leasson. This lesson would be one he’d never forget, for it would forever be ingrained into his memory.
Twenty-year-old Andy normally wasn’t one for extracting revenge, but one could take only so much of the older, more effeminate man’s whining before it got old. Considering that he already had what most considered a girl’s name and he was so effeminate, he decided upon the perfect revenge for his constant whining. After the rest of the band, which included Jake, Jinxx, and CC, had gone to bed for the night, he quietly crawled out of his bunk. Since he was a known insomniac, it wasn’t unusual for him to get up in the middle of the night, unable to sleep until daybreak.
As quietly as a church mouse, the baby of the band crept into the living area, where he erected a soundproof bubble around himself. No one knew that Jinxx, commonly called the Mystic, wasn’t the only one to possess strong magick. He began to chant softly, using one of Ashley’s dirty shirts to aid his spellwork. The words of Gaelic that slipped from his lips wove an unbreakable spell around the oldest of the band as he slept, and he was completely unaware.
With the spell woven around him, Andy let down his soundproof bubble and headed back to the tiny bathroom near the back of the bus. He made it seem like he’d gotten up for a bottle of water or something and was on his way back to bed, quietly faking an exhausted yawn. As he crawled back into his bunk, he grinned sadistically as he wondered just how loud his best friend was going to scream when he woke up in the morning.
