I Don't Want You To Leave...

I woke the next morning, to Ava crying again.I got up and walked to her room.She was holding on to the edge of her crib.I smiled a bit and picked her up."Hey,baby." I kissed her cheek and walked into kitchen. I found Ashley on the couch, about to fall off with an empty bottle in his hand.I laughed and grabbed the bottle, "Ashley! " I slapped his arm.He moved around before sitting up."W-What?" He rubbed his eyes.I smiled and walked to the kitchen.Ava stopped crying ,only to pull my hair. "Damn it!" Ashley huffed walking in the kitchen."Ashley!No swearing!"I slapped his arm again.He sat at the table.I grabbed one of Ava's toys and handed it to her,I set her down on the floor.She started crawling over to Ashley's feet.He picked her up and started playing with her.I smiled ,getting up to get a water bottle.I sat back down next to Ashley."Ava," Ashley kissd her nose."You,never sleep.Just like your daddy."Ava started laughing.


"I sleep!"I sat up straight.

"No,you don't."

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yea huh!"

"Nu-uh!"

"Shut up!" I pouted.


"I win!!" Ashley laughed,making weird faces at Ava.I thought to myself,'I let you win.' I smiled."Shut up." I looked at Ashley.Shooked."Did you say that?" He look at Ava then back at me."No,I didn't sau anything." My eyes got big and I looked at Ava."Ava,did you say that?" I asked her,she nodded and start playing with Ashley's hair.I almost choked on air,I coughed and looked at Ashley."She...She fucking talked!" He laughed.I was going to hit him again,but didn't.Ashley pulled his hair out of Ava's hands."I fucking talked." Ava smiled at me.I looked at her."No,don't say that word!" I looked at Ashley and slapped him.He looked at me,like stop hitting me.I laughed and grabbed Ava.

"Why?" She looked at me.I smiled."Because,the f word is a bad word.And you don't say bad words." She nodded.I smiled and set her down to go play.She started walking a little to the living room.At times like that I missed her even more.She missed her first talk,and walk.I don't even think Ava remembers her mother.It kills me inside to know later on when Ava's older I'm going to have to tell her why she never met her mother.I watch Ava play with the tv remote and tv the turn and off again and again.Ashley walked up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder."Andy?" I turned around."Yea?"

"Wanna go see Bataman?" He smirked.

"Hell yes!" I laughed.I went in the living room and picked Ava up,"Hey,wanna go see Batman?" I aksed walking to her room."Yay!"She laughed.I smiled and got her some clothes.I got her dressed,in a Batman T-shirt and shorts.I put her shoes and jacket on.Ashley came in and too Ava to his car.I went on my room and got dressed.I grab my jacket,I locked the door behind me and got in Ashley's car.He droves us to the movies.I got Ava out and we walked into the teather.I paid for the tickets and we sat down.

The whole movie Ava was perfecty fine,she didn't cry,didn't move from her seat,she only messed with Ashley when she got bored.She would poke his eyes and pull his hair.I thought it was funny,Ashley didn't think it was though.After the movies we went out to eat then went back to my house.Ashley had to go,which mad me a little sad.I didn't tell him though."Hey,I got to go no.I'll see you tomorrow for pratice,kay?" He said grabbing his things.I nodded and went to puck Ava to bed.When she was sleeping I said bye to Ashley and he left.I cleaned the house a little before passingg out on the couch.
