It was all happening so fast,she was pulled away from me so quickly.The baby was crying,I couldn't help it anymore.I broke down,falling to my knees I cried.She's truly gone,she just left so fast.I didn't get to tell her anything before she left.I got up and walked to the baby's room.She was laying in her crib,crying,I felt horrible.I picked her up and rocked her a little,trying to calm her down."Shh,baby it's ok." I kissed her forehead,walking out to the living room.The last place I got to see her,she was on the floor,bleeding.The image is burnt inside my head.She was killed,and I wasn't there to protect her.I sat down on he couch,trying not to remember that night.

The baby fell asleep ,I tried to smile at her.But it was to hard too.I put her in her room ,leaving the door open.Walking to ou-my room my phone went off.I pulled it out from my back pocket to see if was Ashley.

"Hello?" I tried to hide the fact that I was crying less than a minute ago.

"Andy?Are you crying?Please don't cry anymore,you're killing me." Ashley said,I mentaly kicked myself.

"I-I'm sorry,Ashley.It's just the baby was crying and screaming." I lied,but she was crying.I lied about if just being her,it was her though.She brought back the memories of her mother,and it's killing me.

"It's alright,Andy.Do you need me to come over?"

I nod ,knowing he can't see me."Yes,I'm sorry for doing this to you and the guys."

"You're not doing anything to us,we're just worried about you.It's been a year...We just need you to calm down,Ava's getting older.She can understand a few things now ,Andy."

"I know,and I'm sorry .I need to grow up and be there for Ava."

"You're already grown up,you went through a lot.You just need to get passed it.It's hard,I know ,that's why we're all trying to help."

"I know,thank you for that."

"I'll be there soon,bye."

"Bye,Ashley."

The line went dead.I put my phone back in my pocket and went to my room.I laid down,staring at the ceiling. Waiting for it to stop,the pain,the heart ache,all of it.My eyes slowly closed,my mind went numb.Thought of her filled my head.I diffed to sleep.Only to be woken up by Ashley walking into the house."Andy?" He called out."I-I'm in here,Ashley." My voice was cracked,crying never liked me.It gave me the hiccups andmade my throat hurt.Ashley walked into my room.He looked worried,I hated seeing him like this,he walked over to my bed,carefully.I half smiled and sat up a little."Andy?" Ashley sat down next to me."Yes?" I look at him."You need some sleep,I can tell you haven't had any tonight." He pull my batman blacknet over me.I smiled a little then thought about Ava."I can't..." I protested.

"Andy,you have too." Ashley said in a sturn voice.I whimpered a litte."But,who will watch Ava?I just got her back to bed." I said pushing the blacknet off me.Ashley huffed and put it back on me,saying."I'm going to watch her,Andy.Everythng is alright." I nodded and laid back down,watchign Ashley turn the lights off and walk out of me room.And at the moment when he left,I felt alone again.I don't know what it is,but Ashley somehow fills that whole in my heart when he's with me.I feel a bit better with him,but not fully.I thought and thought about this,falling into a deep sleep.

I shot up at the sound of Ava crying.I ran to her room and open the door.Finding Ashley in the dark holding Ava ,trying to calm her down."A-Ashley?" I touched his shoulder.He turned around,"Yes?" He looked down at Ava then back at me."Y-You alreadt got her to stop crying...?" I felt like a horrible father to her,she took forever to stop crying when I tried.The only thing that could help was me singing to her."Yea,she was saying something,but I didn't hear." He handed Ava to me."Ava?" I look at her."D-Daddy?" She smiled at me.I looked up at Ashley,who was smiling."Thank you." I kissed Ava's forehead and put her back to bed."It's fine." Ashley patted my back as we walked out of her room."I'm going to bed now,I'll be down the hall if you need anythng." He walked to the quess room and closed the door.I sighed and went back to my room and fell asleep.
