There she was, standing in front of me. It's been forever since I've seen her. She was my best friend since 3rd grade but in 7th grade we started drifting apar, that was the year I met Shelby, Tory, and Dani. Two years ago we stopped talking completely. I sent her an invitation hopping I would see her again. Tears formed in my eyes as a smile reached my face.
" Ashley! " I cried
" Stevie! " She criedback.
I ran up to her and hugged her tightly picking her up and spinning her around. She laughed and hugged back.
" I'm getting married! " I said not sure of what else to say. She chuckled and wiped away her tear. " I know. I got your invite. " She laughed.
" Are you coming!" I asked full of hope. " Of course! " She cried. I hugged her again wiping away my tears.
I had my first true friend back.
