Love, Hate, Magic, and the Past

*timeskip*
I woke up in Andy's arms and I smiled to myself. Alex was lying about all of it and she was convincing too. I thought they had all been killed.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Andy says sleepily.
"Huh?"
"You make the same face when you are thinking. It's cute." He smiled. I blushed and looked over at him.
"I was thinking about last night."
"What about last night?"
"Alex, and something she said..."
"I don't like her..."
"Me neither. I feel like she is trying to get all of us away from Ashley and....well.....who know what will happen."
"I know what's going to happen if she gets him." Kate said. "Sorry to interrupt you guys but breakfast is ready." She turned to go but Andy called her back.
"What do you mean....by you know."
Kate sat on the floor and Andy and I sat up. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Alex is my cousin. We lived together as kids and I was the 'devil' of the family and she was the 'angel'. She has this mind power thing that she used to control my parents to think I was a horrible kid. All she wants to do is get Ashley away from us...she will do anything including use Kira and Jake....." she took a deep breath. "She will use them to piss me off and she will use Kira to fight with Ashley to get him alone....."
"You sure?" Andy asked.
Kate nodded and stood up. "Just...take care of Jake and Kira. Please."
"Of course." I said.
"Thank you." She said quietly. Then she walked out the door.
"When do you think this will happen?" Andy asked.
"I don't know. But we need to be ready."
He nodded. We got up and went to breakfast. Kira, Jake, and Ashley had no idea what might happen to them.
"So Jinxx...what happened last night?" CC asked.

Ashley's POV
The doorbell rang and Kate jumped. She got up and owned the door.
"Oh h-hey Vic."
"You okay, Kate?"
"Y-yeah just a little-"
"Jumpy?"
She nodded. "Thanks for coming though..."
"No problem." Vic walked in and she shut the door after him. "How are you guys?"
"Good." I said. "What's new with you?"
"Nothing really, just working on planning the next tour."
"Sounds fun."
"It is, but sometimes it's a little bit crazy."
Vic sat down and started talking with Jake and Andy. Kate pulled me aside.
"....Ash.....I want you to be careful. And...uhhh...just don't take Kira's actions too personally...If they seem "not her" then it's probably not her. It might be Alex..."
"What do you mean?"
She hesitated. Sighed, then rushed out. "Alex is trying to separate me and Jake. And she is trying to get you away from Kira and everybody else!"
"She's trying to do what?!"
"Separate you and Kira..."
"And you and Jake?"
"Yeah."
"So you're saying...that she might use Kira and Jake to piss you and me off?"
"Yeah."
"Oh.. that doesn't sound very good."
"It isn't."
"W-what happens if...she....what if she makes....Kira.....and Jake...." I started.
"I think that's what she will do." She said. Tears were threatening to spill over. Then one by one they did. I pulled her into my chest and she cried. "Ashley, she wants us. I don't know what to do. And.....she will....make-"
"Shh....it's ok Kate. If she turns Jake and Kira against us, we will go for revenge. She won't expect us to think about revenge. She wants us to be sad. If she makes them do something. We will do exactly the same thing they do."
She looked up at me. Her face was pink. "Uhh Ashley?"
"Yeah?"
"You know what she's going to have them do, right?"
"Yeah."
"Uh okay...are you sure you want to do exactly what they do?"
"Yeah."
"Okay."
Our eyes locked. I couldn't help but think how beautiful she was. And at the hands of my ex she would be mine.
"You sure?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure." She leaned up and kissed my cheek.
"You missed." I said as I kissed her on her lips, then walked away.
