That Was on Purpose ~ Andy Biersack *Completed

Chapter Eight ~ Don't Fight

--Ashley's POV--

We got Michael settled down in the guest room where he played his nintendo for a bit and I sat Tessa, who had begun to cry, down in my living room. I hope Michael didn't notice the dissaray of clothing across the hall in my room. Every time Tess inhaled, it was through her mouth and very, very shaky. She was riddled with anxiety I hadn't seen her in in years. her face was all red, especially her one cheek. Probably from crying. "Shh, babe, what's wrong?" I asked, witting next to he ron the couch and pulling her into a hug. "We lost Colin..." She said in no more than a hoarse whisper. "What?!" I exclaimed, separating from our hug slightly. "He got this childhood illness and...and we lost him..." She whimpered. "Oh my god, Tess...I'm so sorry...Where's Andy?" I asked, rubbing her comfortingly and kissed the top of her head. She buried her face into my chest and I heard her gaspingly sob. We sat there in silence for several minutes, answerless and quiet.

I could only imagine what Tess was feeling. Even I was brought to tears by the memory of the cheerful, smart little boy Andy and Tess so lovingly cared for. He was just starting to speak, and I could only imagine the things that would've come out of his mouth.

Would've.

I sat cradling Tessa for what felt like hours before she finally sniffled and looked up at me. A purplish stain covered her cheek, and I went to wipe whatever it was away with my thumb. To my surprise, she flinched and yelped a small, "Ow!" I quickly retracted my hand in shock. "What's wrong?" I asked. That's when I realized it.

Andy had a fucked up way of dealing with things.

"Did he hurt you?" I asked. She nodded, pawing at the hem of her shirt. "Oh Tessa..." I gasped outwards, pulling her into a hug. I didn't quite know what to say or how to comfort her, I wasn't good at comforting people. I rubbed her back affectionately and she rested her head in the crook of my neck. I heard a few sniffles. "Where is he?" I asked. There were a number of places Andy could be; the house, the street, or in a bar. "H-He locked himself in the bathroom...I don't know if he's still there." She said, wiping her eyes and pulling away. I nodded. "Okay...You stay here with Michael, I'm gonna go get your stuff." I said. She couldn't stay ehre without any proper clothes or toiletries. "No!" She suddenly cried out as I got up. "Don't fight with him." She said desperately. "I won't. I'm sure he's not even there anymore." I said, smiling sympathetically. She nodded shyly and sat back down.

I Knew exactly what I had to do.
