That Was on Purpose ~ Andy Biersack *Completed

Chapter Three ~ Unknowing

--Tessa's POV--

I sat with Colin until 9:00, but his fever didn't go down. I finally picked up the phone and called the doctor.
"Hello, Quest Peditricians main office." The voice over the phone said.

"Hello, this is Tessa Biersack, my son Colin Biersack has a high fever and looks...unwell." I said tensely.

"Have you taken his exact temperature?

"104."

"He definitely needs to come in, when's the soonest you can make an appointment?"

I watched as Colin sat up and began to cry.

"I think he should come in right now..." I said, fumbling with the phone as I quickly grabbed a cup from the
nearest table if he needed to vomit.

"Unfortunately, we can't do that. The soonest we can schedule is Monday at 12:00."

I watched Colin carefully. "No...I'm going to take him to another office...Thank you."

"Alright, call us back if you need a re-schedule." She said.

I sighed. Colin held the cup, looking down at it through his soft brown eyes. He looked a little loopy and had a slight sway to him. Biting my lip, I dialed Andy. I crossed my fingers he'd pick up.

--Andy's POV--

The movie just finished. It was cute, Michael liked it. We decided to go out for dinner, and we were currently seated at a booth in a little diner far out in the city. Although I would have loved to spend this time with Tess, I treasured any time I could get with my kids. They were the product of Tess and I, and I loved them more than anything in the whole world. I took another bite of my burger. "So what's up with Colin?" Michael asked. "Fever. I'm sure he's fine." I said. Michael nodded. Suddenly, my phone began to vibrate and shake, jogging the whole table. I recognized Tessa's number and quickly picked up.

"Hey Tess, what's up?" I answered.

"Andy, I'm taking Colin to the hospital. His fever hasn't dropped."

"Is he sick to his stomach?"

"I-I don't know...He looks like he might be...I'm taking him to Cedars if you want to drop off Michael and meet me there."

"Okay...I'll call you back. On my way. Bye."

"Bye hun."

Michael sipped his Coke. "Was that mom?" He asked. I nodded. "Colin's fever hasn't gone down, she's taking him to the doctors." I said, specifically choosing 'doctor's' instead of 'hostpital.' "Mm." Michael mumbled to himself.

--Tessa's POV--

I sat in the waiting room. The doctors had taken Colin, and I was geoing progressively worried. I was probably just being paranoid, but they had had him in there for 20 minutes...What if something really was wrong? The creaky door opened and in came Andy. I stood up and hugged him for no impaticular reason. I was just worried. "Well...hi." He laughed, awkwardly hugging me back. "Is he okay?" He asked. I nodded, blushing from my rush of affection. "I'm not sure...The doctors will probably be out soon." I sniffled and wiped my nose. He watched he affectionate yet humored expression on his face. "He'll be okay." He said. You nodded.

But that was wrong.

All wrong.
