The Summer Job ~ Andy Biersack *Completed
Ch.57
--Andy's POV--
"Fine," I grumbled lowly. "It's a deal."
--Baylie's POV--
I laughed lightly, throwing my remaining set of cards at Ricky, who was sitting on the floor across from me. I'd invited him over to keep me company while Andy was gone, as I quickly found out being home alone only triggered bad memories.
He snorted slightly as his laughter subsided, the burst of giggles ending in a happy sigh. "You always win. Cheater." I said. "You're just a natural born loser." He responded, still smiling slightly. I stood up, stretching.
"You want something to eat?" I asked. He shook his head and shrugged.
"I'm good thanks."
I flopped down on the couch, and Ricky joined me, sitting suprisingly close. "Has he been any better?" He asked quietly, looking over at me. I nodded. "He only gets like that when we're out in public. It's not that bad." I defended. He looked at me, unconvinced, but dropped it. I sighed, but it turned into a loud, squealish giggle as he poked a ticklish spot in my stomach. He laughed.
"What kind of noise what that?" He asked humorously.
I shook my head, laughing at my own, alien-like squeal. He poked me again, but this time right in a bruise. Inhaled sharply and tensed up.
"Oh my gosh, Baylie, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot." He said.
I shook my head. "It's okay."
I looked at him a moment, and he looked back and me, and then suddenly, his face was very close to mine and his lips were pressed against me.
My mind went completely blank, like static on a television screen.
The warmth of his lips on mine disappeared. "Sorry." He said quietly. I stared at him blankly a moment. "I-uhm," I laughed slightly to avoid awkwardness. "It's okay."
My mind raced quickly to Andy. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no. That was wrong. Very wrong. I shouldn't have done that. My chest began to feel heavy. Ricky must have been able to tell, because he stood up and looked down at his feet.
"I'm sorry about...that. I should go."
I was going to say something to defend him, but I shut my mouth and just nodded. I knew it was rude, but I was overwhelmingly guilted. After all Andy has done for me...
I heard the front door close.
--Andy's POV--
I parked my car in the driveway and waved to Ricky, who was pulling out just as I arrived.
