The Summer Job ~ Andy Biersack *Completed

--Baylie's POV--

I rolled over. A disgusting, sour flavor sat dull in my mouth. My mind was dulled to the point where I knew exactly where my emotions should lie and I knew how I should be feeling, but I couldn't feel it. I was brain numb.

In fact, the very place I knew my thoughts should not wander to had completely taken over my mind. Andy. I couldn't stop thinking about him, how much he's really seemed to care. I could hear him downstairs throwing together food. It's something he'd never have done a month ago, or even a day ago. He changes every day, ups and downs and he's sometimes he's a completely different person the next day.

There was a light, fluttering knock at the door.

"I brought food." Andy's tired voice said, pushing aside the door.

I gathered my blankets to my chest and sat up slightly, wiping a few tears from my cheeks. Andy set down a bowl of hot cereal resting on a tray. "You should eat." He said, sitting impossibly close to me. He nudged my shoulder lightly. "I'm going to the police station as soon as you finish eating." He stated. I felt fear run through me.

I pushed at his chest. "N-no!" He grabbed both my wrists, holding them against his chest. "Baylie, yes. I'm not letting them get away with whatever they did to you, and you're lucky I did 't take you to the hospital."

--Andy's POV--

I had already called Joan. Our divorce date was January 2nd, and I expected venom. I wouldn't say anything to Baylie about it though, I didn't want to to hold herself responsible for that. I should have done it before anyways.

I looked into her eyes a moment before letting go of her arms. "Eat." I said dully. "I know ypu're hungry."
