--Baylie's POV--

We sat on the same couch we had at the party, but things were much quieter. The loud music and crowds of people were gone, and it was just the three of us.

I did as I was told and denied any food I was offered, didn't look in his eyes, and didn't speak unless he spoke to me. It felt weird. The past week or so Andy hasn't enforced any rules, even the most 'basic' groundlines, so it was strange to be so stiff around him.

"Where's Chris?" Andy asked Ricky, his tone even and relaxed.

"Jerking off in the bathroom." Ricky joked. They both laughed.

"Abigail," Ricky said to me. "Happy to see you again." I smiled shyly. "You too." I kept my eyes down. "How have you been?"

--Andy's POV--

"How have you been?" Ricky asked Abigail, his eyes watching her like a hawk. "Good, thank you. You?" She responded, nervously glancing over at me for a split second as if I was going to scold her. "Good." Ricky said with a smile.

We all shifted gaze as Chris finally came downstairs. "Hey, you finally showed up!" I said jokingly, leaning back on the chair and putting my arm around Abigail. She tensed. "Hey man!" Chris greeted, plopping himself next to Abigail on the couch. "Hey Abigail." He said. "Hey!" She said, trying to sound cheery. She sounded pressured and frightened.

--Baylie's POV--

Andy gently rubbed circles into my skin with his fingertips, helping me to relax. "So, what's been going on with you guys?" Chris asked, looking over at Andy and I. "Not much." Andy answered. "How's Joan?" Ricky asked. "I haven't seen her in a while." Andy tensed. "Oh she's...as bitchy and annoying as usual." Andy said, making me jump. I was surprised at how he talked about her. The two laughed. "I'm surprised she hasn't threatened murder on Abigail yet." I tensed. "Oh, she has." Andy said quietly. Ricky and Chris suddenly became very serious.

--Andy's POV--

"Oh she has." I said quietly. Chris tensed and Ricky glared at me. "Just...remember Naomi, Andy." Ricky said to me quietly. Naomi.

--FLASHBACK--

It was 4:45, the usual time Naomi came around for our evening affair. She'd never been late before, in fact, she was usually early. Besides, I was beginning to get horny. I figured I'd just take it out of her pay.
It hit 6:00 and she still hadn't showed up. I tried calling her, but she didn't pick up. Two months passed, nothing. Not a phone call. I didn't say anything to Joan, knowing she'd be upset.

I checked the news one morning to see the head story,

"Naomi Quartz, found in a cellar not far from the Biersack Colony. Police say they found her chained up and bloodied. She seems to have suffered severe beatings and malnutrition, but refuses to give any details to detectives."

"Ricky's right, Andy. We've all seen the things that woman can do--will do." Chris said. Abigail looked up, confused. I shot Chris a glare and he looked at Abigail, mouthing an , "Ohh..." I nodded slightly. Chris whispered the message on to Ricky.

--Ricky's POV--

"Abigail doesn't know about Naomi." Chris whispered to me. Of course. How much was Andy going to keep from her? Naomi was a big part of being around Andy; Joan almost fucking killed her and Andy thinks he can hide that? Naomi was kind, but she wasn't innocent like Baylie. Baylie would suffer twice as hard if Joan found out about her.

The evening passed and Andy and Baylie left, leaving me to think. Joan, whether or not Andy liked to admit it, is a huge threat to Baylie. I've seen Joan do things like that with my own ees, and it was never pretty.

"Damn would I like to get myself a piece of her ass." Chris said quietly. I laughed slightly. "Wouldn't we all..."
