The Summer Job ~ Andy Biersack *Completed
Ch.18
--Baylie's POV--
I shifted awake the next morning, a strange feeling around my waist. I gasped and my eyes shot open, but as I came to I remembered where I was.Andy's arm was draped over my hips, his hand falling near my inner thighs.
"Morning," he said quietly. "Mhm..." I commented, rolling out from his arms and onto my back. I rubbed my eyes.
I just slept with Andy.
I sat up, a nausea stirring in me.
It's not like we had sex or anything it's just...I've never gotten so close to anyone before. He sat up as well, looking over at me. "You want food?" He asked. "S-sure." I answered, still lost in thought. He stood up and went out for a bit, and I was left to think.
What would my mother think? I practically snuggled up to a guy I barely met; a guy who was also married and a complete asshole. Oh god, oh god...What was I thinking? I tried to back up a minute, to put thongs in perspective. All he did was wrap his arm around me. But even that was intimate. He has a wife!
Suddenly the door opened again.
"Someone'll bring it up soon." He said. "You okay?" I nodded, gulping and looking over at him. "Just...thinking." He nodded and sat down next to me, sighing. He was emotionless this morning, just like usual. Perhaps he was bipolar, I thought. "Sleep well?" He asked, his human side slowly showing itself. "Mhm. You?" I asked, covering my mouth as I yawned. "Mm." He said dully. I stretched and fell over backwards onto the soft mattress, a satisfying 'mmf' sound coming from the bed. "Makin' yourself at home there." He remarked. I blushed and tucked my hair behind my ear. I heard a faint knock on the door and quickly sat up in embarrassment. "Come in!" Andy shouted, a slight growl to his voice as he raised his tone.
To my suprise, frail little Celia came in with a tray full of food. She saw me and her face lit up. "Celia!" I said excitedly. Andy shot his glare towards me. "Hm?" He asked. Celia told me something through her eyes-Shut up, Baylie. "Oh...I was just...I...I thought she was someone I knew once but..." I laughed uncomfortably, trying to lie. Andy searched me for a moment, but then nodded. Celia set the plate down on my lap, not looking up into my eyes. As her shaking hands set down the platter, a small bit of juice spilled on the blanket.
"Be careful!" Andy shouted at her. She jumped. "S-sorry sir." I winced to see how he treated the sweet, caring old woman I came to know. "Anything else?" She asked simply. "No." Andy answered quickly. She nodded and stepped outside. There was silence for a moment.
"You don't have to treat them like that you know." I said lowly.
"I know."
"So?"
"So what?"
"Why do you?"
He sighed, looking away from me. "Eat your food." He commented. I laughed slightly. "Okay.." He blew air from his nose in a slight chuckle. "What's so funny?" He asked. I could tell by the tone in his voice he was relaxed now. "Nothing." I said quietly, picking at the eggs on my plate. He flopped on the bed, laying on his stomach and holding his head in his hands.
"Well, I think you--"
Suddenly, there was a loud knock from what sounded like the front door. "Who's that?" I asked. Andy froze.
"Abigail, what day is it?"
"...Saturday, why?"
"Joan."
Notes
Joan always fucks things up.
