My Romeo

It's been 5 minutes. Both me and Andy stare at the three tests placed out on the table.

"So what's the verdict?" He asks.

"I'm pregnant." I exclaim.

"That's great, we can move into my apartment and-"

"Andy, I'm not sure if it's yours." I keep my eyes focused on the ground.

"What do you mean?"

"I've only had sex two times recently; with you and my boyfriend in the same week."

"Holy fuck, well what happens now?"

"I don't know. If I tell him I'm pregnant and it might not be his then he'll hate me for cheating on him. And then there's you. You're a rockstar now, you have tours, interviews, signings, how could we possibly raise a child together?"

"Come with me."

"You know I can't, living in LA and partying all the time is your thing, I can't allow my kid to be raised that way. I'm sorry."

"No you're right, that's not a fair childhood. You know you still haven't told me who your boyfriend is."

"What are you talking about? I told you." No I didn't.

"Then refresh my memory."

"For the last two months I've been dating Alex."

"You've been dating that tool? Scar you could do way better."

"What did you just call him?"

"You know I didn't mean it like that, but we both know you can do way better."

"And what's better Andrew, you? Alex is a great guy and you would know that if you weren't such a goddamn prick to him!"

"Well I wouldn't be a goddamn prick to any guy if you could just keep your pants on for five minutes!"

"Get the fuck out right now!"

"Or what, you gonna call your boyfriend to come beat me up?"

"No I'm gonna call the cops and get you arrested if you don't leave." He simply rolls his eyes, picks up his jacket and leaves. But before he does he places an envelope on the table.

"Give this to the girl I fell in love with." And with that, he's gone.

I call Nicole and she comes straight over. I tell her everything and she lets out a sigh.

"I know that must of hurt you a lot more than it did him." She says opening up her backpack. "Here, read the last entry." I take the little black journal from her hands and open it up to the most recent page. Tears drop as I read because slowly everything comes back to me.

I embrace Nicole in a hug; "I remember." I say.

"What exactly do you remember?" She asks.

"Everything." I rip out the page and put it in an envelope. On the outside of it I write; 'Read This When You Become The Man I Fell In Love With Again'. I go outside and place the envelope in the mail box. I walk back inside and stare at the envelope Andrew gave me.

"Are you going to open it?" Nicole asks.

"No, this is for the girl he fell in love with, and I'm not that girl anymore." I say.

"Scar, people don't just fall out of love."

"Yet we so easily for in love? I'm keeping this baby and I'm telling Alex the baby is his. If Andy cares, he'll be back."

And hopefully he will be. I wonder how Alex and the others are going to take the news. Anyhow, Goodnight :)
