My Romeo

"I told you not to." Nicole says quite strictly.

I give her a raised brow. "I didn't cheat on Kellin."

"Then why was Alex's hand caressing your ass when I walked in this morning?"

"I don't know. After the movie we fell asleep and he must of been dreaming about stuff I guess. Either way I did not cheat."

"Fine, I believe you. The only thing I don't get is why you're hanging out with him."

"He's kind and he's a very lonely man. His friends don't make time for him and he wanted to hangout so I said yes. He's really awesome and I'm gonna hangout with him Thursday, you should come."

"Hangout with a teacher? People will start talking Scar."

"Fine, but you're missing out. I'm gonna go get ready for school. Do you mind waking him up? Please!"

"Fine, go get ready." I walk into the bathroom and take a quick shower. When I get out I dry and straighten my hair, and do my wings. I put on my white tank top, black hoodie, black ripped skinny jeans, and dark brown laced up boots. I grab my bag and walk out into the living room.

"Morning." I say to a slowly awakening Alex.

"Good morning." He whispers, he looks tired as shit.

"I'll see you both at school I guess." Nicole says grabbing a coke from the fridge.

"You ain't gonna wait up?" I ask.

"No, Ricky's giving me a ride. See ya, bye Mr Gaskarth." She says walking out.

"What time is it?" Alex asks exhausted.

"About 7:30am, we should leave soon." I say. He leaps up from the couch.

"I need to get ready!"

"No worries. My aunt sleeps with a lot of guys who leave their clothing here, you can where those, and feel free to have a quick shower."

"Thanks." He says running to the bathroom. I walk into my aunt's room and take a look in her box of 'Good Will', aka stuff men leave behind. I open it grabbing a dark blue collared shirt, a black blazer, black tie, and a pair of black jeans. These should do. I place the clothes on the couch and enter the kitchen. I start making scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. I hear the shower turn off and see him walk out with nothing but a towel around his waist. I blush at the site of this naked man in front of me. Alex is really hot. He smiles at me because he sees that I'm staring for a little too long.

"Uh your clothes." I say handing him the clothes from the couch. "I hope they fit."

"Thank you again, you're a lifesaver." He says. He walks back into bathroom to change. I got back into the kitchen and take the eggs, bacon, and toast, and turn it into a sandwich for him. He walks out of the bathroom and I hand the sandwich to him. "You made me breakfast? You shouldn't have, I was gonna grab something on the way."

"Well I thought you'd enjoy a home cooked meal a lot more."

"You're right about that, thank you for everything."

"What are friends for?"

"We should be leaving, classes are going to start in ten."

"Let's go." We both leave the apartment and rush to Alex's car. We get inside and drive as fast as possible to get to the school. We get to the school and there's only five minutes till class begins.

"Wait!" Alex says as I reach for the handle to get out of the car. I turn to him. "Last night was awesome. You are the most kind, funny, charming, and prettiest girl I've ever met. Thank you for being my friend."

"Thank you for being my friend as well. Now come on, you don't want to be late for our first class, do you?" "Alright let's go." We get out of the car and walk into the class. I sit down at a desk in the front and Alex begins his lesson.
Soon it's lunchtime and I decide to spend my lunch break alone again. I walk back to the park and sit in the playground. I take out my notebook and begin writing my song for Mr Barakat. When that's done there's still an hour left of lunch so I decide to start learning some of the songs Andy gave me yesterday. Songs: Die For You, Knives and Pens, We Don't Belong, and Youth And Whisky . I love all of these songs, and I have to say that record companies are really stupid for not noticing how amazing Black Veil Brides are. Their words heal wounds and the sooner people notice is the better. I'm somewhat glad I made that deal with Ash other than the sex part, I really hate that part. Soon the bell rings and I rush to Mr Barakat's classroom.

"Miss Kanes," he calls me over. "have you finished my song?"

"Yes, here." I say handing it to him.

"Well the lab still isn't finished so I guess this is a free period for you."

"Thank you."

"No, you deserve it." I nod and walk through the halls.

I walk down to the auditorium, knowing I'm going to be there next period anyways. I sit on the edge of the stage and take out the lyrics. My favourite lines are: "I grew from those who hate me, stead fast to a razor-blade symphony" I repeat, something about these lines just sticks to me.

"I see you're looking over Youth and Whisky." A deep voice says behind me, Andy.

"Yes, it's my favourite out of the songs you gave me." I say turning to face him.

"I thought you would have liked Die For You more, just saying. So why'd you leave my class yesterday?"

"You were being an ass to me, I'm not gonna sit around and be treated like that, I was stopping myself before I said something I didn't mean."

"I'm sorry. Well you missed Ash and Jinxx, they came in twenty minutes after you left."

"Tell Jinxx I'm sorry."

"And Ashley."

"Sure him too."

"Are you mad at Ash or something?"

"You could say that." I stand.

"What'd he do?"

"If I told you, you'd have his head on a stake."

"Serious is it? What'd he do?"

"Doesn't matter, do you mind singing a little of Youth and Whisky?"

"Sure." He sits at the piano and begins.

He stops and turns to me.
"Was it as you expected?"

"It was better than I expected."

"Now what did Ashley do?"

"The correct question is; what didn't he do." I say sitting back on the edge of the stage.

"It must be really bad for you not to tell me."

"It's okay Andy, I don't need you to fight for me all the time, I just need you to be there right next to me in the fight."

"I will." He sits next to me. "I'll be there whenever you need me."

"No you won't. You're going to be off working on your record."

"What record?"

"The record I'm buying for the band."

"No Scarlet, you're not going to waste your money on us."

"Oh but I am, you deserve it."

"Thank you so much, I'll pay you back every cent."

"No you're not cause if you do I'll cut you."

"Scarlet what's with you and violence?" Ash asks as he walks in. I sit a little closer to Andy.

"I don't know, what's with you and your ego?" I ask and he rolls his eyes.

"What's with you two?" Andy asks.

"It doesn't matter, I'm going to go have a smoke." I say getting up.

"Do you mind if I join you?" Andy asks.

I shrug. "Whatever floats your boat." I say and we go to my usual spot under the stairs of the entrance to the school. Andy and I both light up our cigarettes, I take a long drag.

"So Ashley sent you to the hospital." He says inhaling the poison.

"Yes I fainted because of him." I tell him staring at the wall.

"When did he do the thing that upset you?"

"The night of the show you played, that's why he was late."

"What'd he do to you?"

"I'm taking care of it by myself, but thank you Andy."

"So... Halloween's this Friday."

"What are you being?"

"Batman of course, and you?"

"Forget about it, you're gonna have to wait and see."

"But I told you mine."

"Well you didn't have to."

"Sometimes Scar..."

"Sometimes what?"

"Sometimes I just want to take that little ass of yours and spank it. Why do you have to be so stubborn?"

"It's in the job subscription." I step on my faintly lit cigarette. "You want to spank me?"

"Yes actually, so very much."

"Thanks I guess... You're gonna have to cancel the musical."

"Why?"

"Because by winter you're going to be working on your album. You won't be here at the school."

"Who do you presume is going to takeover?"

"Mr Barakat has a free period first and Mr Gaskarth has a free last. I think those two could fill in. But they probably won't carry on the musical."

"It's a shame I put so much work into it. You know that story was on my life right?"

"It was?"

"Yeah I'm Johnnie."

"And who was Maya?"

"At the time, Scout. Juliet was Sam."

"What happened between you and Scout?"

"She cheated on me when I went out to LA, then I divorced her ass."

"So you see me as Maya?"

"No, you're more like Sam, but you deserve to be the lead."

"So you assume I'm going to help my best friend's boyfriend cheat on her?"

"No, no nothing like that. I just see you more as Juliet. You're both beautiful, kind, smart, and talented."

"I know, I was just pulling your leg a bit." I giggle. "So Ash's going to be here for all next period?"

"Don't worry, Danny and Ben are going to be here too."

"Do they like me?"

"I think Danny made it pretty obvious he liked you the first night, and I'm pretty sure Ben likes you too."

"That's good. The bell's gonna ring soon so we should go back in." He nods and we head back to the auditorium. Soon the day is over and I head straight home and fall asleep on the couch.
