Happy Little Pill

Top of the Morning

My head was rising and falling with someone's breaths. I opened my eyes slightly to see where I was. I was in the living room, on Andy's chest. We must have passed out last night. I shifted myself and laid my head back down.

"Are you awake?" I heard.

"No," I muttered and then Andy chuckled.

"Yes you are, how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Like my head exploded," I said and closed my eyes.

"Don't drink so much Vodka next time, get up so I can go make food for us," he said. I sat up and immediately got a wave of nausea. I got off the couch quickly and ran to the bathroom to throw up whatever was in my stomach. When I was done, I leaned against the wall and flushed the toilet.

"You are seriously a lightweight," I heard from the kitchen.

"Shut it Biersack," I called back and slowly got off the floor. I walked slowly out to the kitchen and sat on a stool at the island.

"What are you hungry for?" He asked.

"Toast and Nutella," I said.

"Nothing else?" He asked.

"Milk," I looked at him and he nodded. I watched him as he was making the toast, he had no shirt on, and his back muscles were kind of mesmerizing to my hungover brain.

"When did I pass out last night?" I asked.

"At the beginning of Warm Bodies," he said.

"Why were we down here?" I asked.

"I didn't want to carry you upstairs," he said.

"You calling me fat?" I asked.

"No, I'm just lazy," he said and set the plate in front of me. I began eating the toast and it felt like heaven going down my throat. As I chewed, I heard the doorbell. A groan escaped my mouth and I looked at Andy. He smirked before walking to the door and answering it. I didn't pay attention to the voices, only my toast, which was making me so happy.

"Sadee, your mother is here," I heard Andy say from behind me. This is not going to end well. I turned around and got off the chair, with my toast in my hand. I walked over to the door and saw my mother. The second I came into view, she gasped and got a horrified look on her face.

"What did you do to your hair?" She asked.

"I cut it," I said while chewing a piece of toast.

"Why?" She asked.

"Cause I'm going on tour with Black Veil Brides for seven months and having long hair will take too much time in that small bathroom," I said.

"Your hair is so pretty," she said.

"It will be again when it grows. What do you want?" I asked.

"I wanted to see you before I went back to Nashville," she said. She's leaving.

"You're going back to Nashville?" I asked.

"Yeah, I was never a California kind of person, but apparently you and Lauren are," she said. What is with her and giving up everything?

"Are you still retiring from your other label?" I asked.

"Not yet, but Tyler said he would love to own the label when I do retire," she said.

"So I'm off the hook?" I asked.

"Yes, you are off the hook. Are you hungover?" She asked.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you look like death," she said.

"Yeah, I am. Vodka is so awesome though," I smiled and she chuckled.

"Have fun on tour Sadee. I hope you let me see you when you guys are in Tennessee," she said.

"It's not up to me. I'm a roadie, not a crew member," I said.

"You aren't a roadie," I heard Andy say from the kitchen.

"Shut it Biersack," I said back and he laughed.

"I love you Sadee, I always will. And I understand if you don't love me," she said.

"Good. Can I go eat my toast and spend the day with my boyfriend now?" I asked.

"Yeah, have fun," she said and walked away. I closed the door and walked slowly back to the kitchen. Andy was at the stove cooking something.

"You're not a roadie, and you know it," he said.

"I know, but my mom doesn't need to know that," I said and sat down at the island.

"Today we can relax, but tomorrow is going to be filled with tour stuff, again," he said. I groaned and rested my head on the table.

"I know, but, it's the real technical stuff. Like the dates, and the schedules, and what bunks are whose, and when we are going to be in hotels. All that stuff," he said.

"Fun," I said.

"And we are going to do a practice set," he said.

"Can I be the audience?" I asked.

"You and most of the crew," he said and sat down next to me.

"Awesome. Where are we going first?" I asked.

"I think Seattle," he said.

"Okay," I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder.

"It's like noon, you realize that, right?" He asked.

"Nope, but now I do," I smiled.

"You are such a lazy person," he said.

"I learn from the best," I smiled before kissing his cheek and walking upstairs to the bedroom. I need to shower and then I am probably going to go on my computer and plan what to bring with me. I am kind of excited for this tour.
