HEART OF FIRE

The pain that was rushing through Sophie’s body was nothing short of utter torture. Maybe Jonathon was right, she was going to Hell. She screamed loudly as she felt Jonathon’s foot come into contact with her head. She was certain she felt her skull crack.

“Had enough yet you stupid whore?” Jonathon said in an evil voice and he stamped his foot down hard on Sophie’s left wrist several times. Sophie screamed once more as she felt her wrist break. “Please stop it.”

Surprisingly, Jonathon did stop and Sophie could actually let herself attempt to breathe, but she struggled from the pain of her broken ribs. Her vision was blurred and she could slowly feel herself slipping into unconsciousness but what she did manage to make out was Jonathon coming towards her with a gun in his hand. She tried to scream but no sound came out. “Well Sophie it’s been nice knowing you... I’ll send your regards to the others girls. Wish me luck with learning how to ski.”

There was a loud bang and this time Sophie did manage to scream. The bang however, had not come from the gun, but the door of the apartment being flung open. The last thing Sophie saw before everything went black was several police men rushing in through the door.

“Drop the gun and put your hands up!” two police officers said to Jonathon, pointing their own firearms at him. Another officer lent by Sophie and put two fingers on her neck. “There’s a pulse,” he said “call an ambulance.” “I said drop the gun!” one of the Police officers pointing his firearm at Jonathon shouted.

Jonathon shook his head, “There is no way I’m going back inside again...” and with one last glance at Sophie, he turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger.


When Sophie’s eyes opened, all she saw was bright white light. This made her assume she was in Heaven... and that would mean she was dead. This thought brought tears to her eyes, as that would mean she would never see her mom and sister again, she would never be able to be in Andy’s arms again or dance again. It was all over... or was it?

Eventually her eyes came into focus and she managed to take in the scene around her. She was in a bed with a lot of wires stuck in her. Hospital! Sophie felt her heart leap, she was still alive. “I-I’m alive...” she managed to croak.

“Sophie!!”

Sophie’s heart leap from her chest... Andy was sat in a chair at the far end of the room. She felt herself begin to cry once again as he got up and made his way over to her. “O-Oh Andy I-I thought I was d-dead... I-I thought I wasn’t going t-to see you a-again.”

Andy gently kissed Sophie’s forehead and let out a small chuckle. “No my Angel... thankfully you are quite alive, but also quite broken.” “What happened? I don’t remember anything?”

Andy sat on the bed, being careful not to touch Sophie. “Jonathon kidnapped you. You must have been on your way home from College. I don’t know what happened in that apartment but you have 3 broken ribs, your left wrist is broken, your collarbone is broken and your skull is slightly fractured. You’ve also lost a fair amount of blood.”

More tears formed in Sophie’s eyes, “How am I still alive?”

Andy gently took Sophie’s hand. “A few doors down from the apartment where he was holding you, was the home of an old lady. She heard your screams and phoned the police. They got there just in time; he was just about to shoot you.”

“W-What about...” Sophie couldn’t bring herself to speak his name. “He’s dead. When the police arrived he must have figured there was no way he could escape and he must have not been able to even bear the thought of going back inside again.” “H-He shot himself?” Andy merely nodded.

Sophie at first felt her heart sink a little. Before Jonathon had turned cruel, he was actually really nice to her. But then she figured that had probably been just an act to gain her trust. She then breathed a sigh of relief. She felt... free.

Sophie was in the Hospital for a grand total of 3 weeks but had to remain home for another Month before she could return to College. To her surprise, her class had decided to put the production on hold until Sophie was able to re-join them. Her mom, sister, Andy and the rest of BVB all came to see the show and it was “quite a sensation” in Ashley’s words.

The rest of her College year went wonderfully well and at the end she passed with flying colours. She had 4 wonderful Months free until she started at University. Her 3 years at University passed in what seemed like a breeze. In that time, Amber graduated from High School and started College. Andy and the boys finished their album and another one in that time, as well as going on two World tours, which was painful for him and Sophie but their love remained strong. Also in that time Jinxx and Sammi had gotten married as well Jake and Ella’s relationship had also progressed to them being married too.

At the end of Sophie’s time in University, her mom had put together a huge party to congratulate her... and at said party, Andy proposed to her. She of course said yes. Around a Month after she graduated from University, she joined the Millennium Dance Complex and got her dream of becoming a professional dancer. She performed in several musicals in Los Angeles, New York and also went to London’s West End. Of course she also eventually married Andy and together they had two beautiful daughters, whom they named Melody and Katrina.

Jinxx and Sammi went on to have twin boys which they named Jacob and Samuel and then a girl whom they named Helena. Jake and Ella went on to have a boy named Aaron and a girl named Olivia. Ashley eventually settled down with none other than Sophie’s old pal Gemma... who hadn’t continued with Dance after College but had gone into modelling and had become quite famous. They too married and had just a Daughter whom they named Sophia. CC ended up getting back with his old girlfriend Lauren Watson, and this time the love remained. The pair married and as Lauren couldn’t have children... they adopted a young boy named Max.

And they all lived happily ever after... yes I did just say that, get over it.
