Falling In Jake's Arms

I headed to the BVB bus and knocked on their door, Jake was there with an almost grim look on his face. “What are you doing here?” he asked as a pulled my arms around him to pull him into a hug, but he pushed my away. “Why do you smell like smoke?” He asked. “It’s my uh, my anxiety,” I said “And something else, won’t your brother get pissed if he sees you here?” He asked. I shook my head. “No, he never knew I had anxiety. So when he saw my smoking over it he just gave in, so we can go out.” I said. He smiled. Boy am I glad to see that smile again. “Aurora do you have an electric guitar?” Asked Jinxx. “Yeah, but I only know a few songs like Unbroken and The Legacy. I know most Falling in Reverse songs because Jacky showed me. I also know how to do riffs and solos.” I said in almost complete confidence. “ Do you know how to do the solo in Unbroken?” Jinxx asked. “Yeah, I know it.” I said amused at the looks on their faces. As Jinxx left to go get his guitar I thought back to the first time I played the solo. I was left home alone so I grabbed my shitty guitar. It looked old but I didn’t mind. I probably practiced for who knows how long before Ronnie came home. Jinx returned holding an electric guitar in his hand. He walked up to me and handed me it. “If you know it than play it, the show us.” Said Jinxx. I began playing and started looking at everyone's shocked faces. Did they really think I couldn’t play this? When I finished I turned and looked at Jake. “Damn! That was sick!” said Jake still so shocked he didn’t know what to do but kiss me. After about a minute he pulled away and turned his gaze to both me and Miranda. “Hey Aurora and Miranda, there’s a concert tomorrow and we were wondering if you two would be willing to go on stage during the songs Unbroken and The Legacy. Miranda you could sing and Aurora you could play the guitar. How does that sound?” Jake asked. We both thought about it for a moment then almost simultaneously we nodded. “Sure. what time do you guys start?” I asked. “We usually go out around 6:49 to 7 sharp.”
Today was the concert and Miranda was showering while I got dressed. I finished pretty quick. Miranda was still in the shower so I started to put on my smokey eye shadow. Miranda got out of the shower soon after. As she just started to get ready I was putting on my finishing touches. I put on some BVB bright lipgloss. It wasn’t that bright but I didn’t care. I sprayed on some perfume and cleaned my guitar that said “Rockstar” with neon green and red letters. I like the way the letters shine after a fresh cleaning. It looks really cool! As I finished cleaning up the guitar Miranda called from the closet “Almost ready!” Soon after my phone began to vibrate. It was Jake.

Hey babe, are you guys almost ready its 6:23 and you guys have to be here at 6:45

Yeah we are almost done i'm just finishing up my eyeliner and Miranda with her smokey eye shadow.

“Miranda are you ready yet?” I said a little worried. “I’ve been done.” she said cheerfully.
We are at the concert and walked to first row. We looked up and we could of see the guys. Practicing the songs. We looked down at our seats and saw a row of raving fans sitting in our seats. We didn’t bother to try and regain our spots so we just turned and started heading for the backstage. When we got there I gave my guitar to one of the managers. They simply glared at it for a moment only to look up and surprise me with compliments about my guitar. “We had to come back here because we lost our seats.” said Aurora to the curious manager. “ oh, don’t worry. We have some special reserved seats for you two. You should be able to see it when you go back. They will be the lit up seats in the front. All a courtesy of Jake. He wanted to make sure you could find them. Just breath in and out I thought to myself. “I’m a little Nervous. Not that nervous because i’ve gone on stage with Ronnie like a hundred times, but still nervous. I’m sure it won’t be that bad.” I said. trying to hide the fact that i’m starting to lose my cool.
The show hasn’t even started yet and i’m already getting the urge to cut of my ears. Again. I don’t think I can stand staying here any longer. This fan keeps screaming loudly right beside me. Someone taps me on the shoulder and asked me who we were. “WE ARE BVB GFS!” I yelled trying to talk over the music. “NO WONDER YOU TWO HAD BVB AND FIR PASSES. CAN YOU SIGN MY SHIRT SINCE YOUR DATING JAKE!” She yelled back. “SURE!” she handed me a marker and signed her shirt. “AND YOU’RE THE PERSON WHO IS DATING ANDY RIGHT!?” She yelled back “YEAH.” Miranda yelled “CAN YOU SIGN THIS TOO!” She was too excited. Not only did she meet BVB’s girlfriends, one of them was Ronnie’s sister. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. She was one lucky fan.
“Alright ladies and Gentlemen, today we are going to have a special performance by Aurora Radke and Miranda Davis. They are going to perform Unbroken and The Legacy.” We started our way on stage. As I looked upon the stage I noticed my guitar. God am I glad I cleaned it up. If I went on stage and it looked as shitty as it did before I would die of embarrassment. I slowly edged toward my guitar. As I lifted the strap over my head Miranda took place at the microphone. We started our performance with The legacy. I didn’t do too bad I guess. I really shouldn’t be doubting myself so much about my guitar skills. All of a sudden I felt a small gust of wind. As I looked up I saw … a helicopter? But who is in it? Wait. Is that Ronnie? What the fuck? I’m not even gonna ask. I looked back down at my guitar. I really wish I had enough money to buy a new one so I could get rid of this piece of shit.
