Falling In Jake's Arms

‘Fuck.’ I said again for almost the hundredth time, hoping he wont notice me. I was about to leave and try to find a better hiding spot when I saw his shoes. “God I hate my brother sometimes.”
“Miranda is here which means so Aurora is. They are inseparable. Do you really think Miranda would let Aurora go out on her own? I’m not stupid.” As I look out I see my phone right by Ronnie’s feet. So that was what the loud thud was. Hopefully he doesn’t notice. I slowly reached for the phone but quickly retracted as I saw Ronnie shift his stance. “Ah ha. I saw your hand. Now get out and get dressed because you are going to go to the bus. Then we are going to have the biggest talk, even if you disagree with things you don’t like.” I grabbed my stuff and changed, by the time I finished tears were streaming down my face. “Don’t touch me!” I yelled. We walked to the Falling In Reverse bus where Jacky and the guys just looked at me with sorrow filled eyes. Just wishing they could have done something more to keep this from happening. To keep Ronnie from finding out. I just stood there for who knows how long. Just waiting for whats to come. All I could think about was what’s going to happen? What’s he going to say? I only wish I knew. I was beginning to become paranoid. My anxiety skyrocketed. I wanted to calm myself down. Maybe with a smoke, but Ronnie hates to see’s me smoking. It’s not my fault my anxiety is so high.
All day I was waiting for Ronnie’s answer. I can see that he was pissed and that staying with Jake wasn’t enough to make him prove it. I couldn’t stand it. I needed a smoke. I walked over to the side of the bus and pulled out an almost empty pack of cigarettes. As I lit one I started to hear footsteps but I didn’t care I needed this. I slowly pressed it to my mouth and took a deep breath. A calm slowly starts to sweep through me. As the steps got dangerously close I could only hope that it wasn’t Ronnie, but it was. “Aurora, is that a cigarette?” He asked me. “Yeah, I had no choice. My anxiety is off the charts, and all because of you.” He looked at me like he never seen this part of me. “You have anxiety? Since when?” He asked looking confused. “I don’t want to talk about it.” After I finished up with the remainder of the cigarette I turned to him. “No more, Look if this anxiety thing is going to make act out this way when something upsets you, just tell me, but here’s one thing. If you want, you can go out with Jake since you really seem to love him that much.” I looked surprised. “Really?” I asked. “Yeah, I don’t want your anxiety to to be this fucked up.” I smiled and pulled his into a deep bear hug. “Thanks Ronnie.”
