Falling In Jake's Arms

It was February. Only four more days until my birthday. I was practicing with my shitty guitar. God damn the strings break every time I use this thing! “Aw, shit. This is piece of crap!”I threw my strings into the trash. Jake looked at me. “Why did you throw them away?” He asked. “They keep on breaking.” He went down the basement. A few minutes later he appeared holding a few packs of strings and handed them to me. “Here, use these. They don’t break. Trust me.” I smiled. “Thanks.”
Jake’s POV
“I’ll be right back.” I lied to her. I always bring her gifts, but this one she will never expect. A new guitar. I could tell that she didn’t like the one Ronnie and Jacky gave her. Heck, she refers to it as ‘Her shitty guitar’. After I finished personalizing it I started writing a note to go along with it. When I finished writing the last few words I read them back to myself. Damn you have a lot of junk in your trunk! Happy 23rd birthday Aurora! I gave you this guitar because I thought you needed a new one. Also The guys wanted to get you a gift so they bought you a puppy. Just so you know this isn’t all I have another surprise for you. Love, Jake
Well, thats the note, but yeah I finished up and put the guitar back in it’s box and set it beside the cage holding her puppy. She was so cute, just like Aurora.
(End Of Jakes POV)
My guitar was too fucked up. I regret Ronnie giving me it. I wish I had enough money to buy a new one, But I am saving up. So I just threw it in the trash. Goodbye shitty ass guitar.
Seconds later I saw Jake with a big box. “What’s that?” I asked him. “Things for the band.” I nodded slowly. Even I don’t want to know what’s in there, but even with that strange encounter I’m glad that today i’m going to get my cast off.
