I Guess Dreams Can Come True

“They skimmed the room quickly then saw me, and attacked me… with hugs. I yelled, being surprised then embraced the hugs.

“They JUST contacted us!” Ashley yelled then he looked over my shoulder to glare at the receptionist. I giggled a bit then sat them down and explained everything. At first the guys just stared at me, not knowing what to say then Jinx spoke up first.

“He loves you.” He said with a completely serious face.

“He says that bu-“ I started to say then Jake cut me off this time, joining in.

“No, he seriously does love you. This is more than just a really bad crush. He loves you with all his heart.” He said with a serious face too. I blushed then made an obvious sigh. Then we all just sat there in silence for a moment or two. Then I remembered.

" Andy!” I yelled and all the guys suddenly remembered too and shot out of our lobby room seats and they followed me in a run too to Andy’s room. As soon as we rushed in Andy’s face lit up like the sun.

“Guys! Kate!” He said with a huge goofy smile. I smiled then we all ran over and hugged him. Then we all somewhat faced reality and sat down, Jake in the only sitting area in there, Cc sitting on the floor right under me, I was on the bed lying next to Andy, Jinx sitting on the other side of Andy’s bed but on the floor, holding onto Andy’s free hand slightly, and Ashley leaning against the wall facing Andy and I. We sat there, talking about good old times, and Andy seemed to be getting a little bit better. The doctor came in about an hour later and noticed we were almost all asleep so I guess he just figured I would be released tomorrow morning. We were all talking, getting very tired and almost asleep, I think I was the first one to fall asleep, and I fell asleep in Andy’s arms <3. I woke up to a lot of beeps and Cc tugging me away from Andy’s arms once I realized what he was doing I looked back over at Andy and he seemed almost life less and then I knew what was going on and I suddenly held onto Andy, trying not to let Cc take me away from him again.

“Cc, no!” I yelled in his direction while still clinging onto Andy.

“Yes, Kate! We can’t be in here while they help him!” He yelled back.

“No, I have been ripped away from him too many times, I’m not letting you rip me away from him again! I said with tears in my eyes again.

“Kate, if we don’t get out now they won’t do anything to help him, do you want that?!” He said as he looked me in the eyes, and I knew what I had to, I stopped struggling but once I was off Andy I jerked out of Cc’s grasp just long enough to give Andy a kiss, then Cc took me away to meet with the other guys in the hallway, but this time Sandra was there too. Sandra glared at me, oh well. The doctor came up and without letting me ask what was going on he handed me a bag, a few papers, and told me I was released then started shooing me out of the building and told me I could come back but I needed to go take a shower, and change at home just to be calmed down. I got into a shuttle bus provided by the hospital for situations like this, considering I have no idea where my car is even right now. I was dropped off in front of my house. Great, I just realized everyone was there for Andy, yet Landon and Jade weren’t there at all… I was just hoping that they weren’t contacted or something, I know that’s not the truth, but I was hoping just to make myself feel better. I came in and nobody was home, thank god. I ran in and changed into a pair of skinny jeans and an old Nirvana muscle shirt with a leather jacket pulled over it, I came to the bathroom to notice my disgusting face, I hadn’t washed it or anything and I had a few cuts and no makeup. Gross. I washed my face quickly then put on a light face of makeup, and put my red Ariel hair into a high bun, then I grabbed my money, bag, and got into a taxi then left for the hospital, once I got there everyone was still waiting eagerly out in the lobby to see Andy. I came in and sat next to Jake and Ashley.

“Have you heard much more yet…?” I asked quietly, nobody answered at first then Ashley spoke up.

“He’s been put on life support.” He said to me, coldly, but not aggressively. I didn’t respond, nothing to respond to really. I laid my head down on Jake’s shoulder and he looked down and smiled then shifted his shoulders so he could embrace me a little more. I closed my eyes then I was asleep again.

“Kate… You should probably get up or else you won’t be able to sleep later on.” Jake said to me quietly. I woke up, rubbed my eyes then sat up, I looked around and saw Ashley was up and talking to the receptionist, and it obviously wasn’t about Andy or anything like that, he seemed to be laughing with her, then I looked around some more and everyone was where they were, and Jake was looking at me sweetly.

“Yeah, probably.” I finally replied to Jake. He nodded and I got up and walked over to Ashley, who was still having just a joyful time with the receptionist it seemed. They continued talking for about 5 seconds after I stood there until the receptionist noticed me and smiled, Ashley looked at what she was smiling at and realized I was standing beside him.

“Oh! Sorry, this is Kate, and Kate, this is Briana.” He told me, explaining what her name was I nodded, because I was still tired and everything was starting to sink in again. After they stared at me for a while they continued talking and I just slowly backed away from that awkward situation and sat down by Jake again, but as soon as I sat down I was back up again.

“I want to go see him.” I stood up and told Jake.

“I don’t know if w-“ Jake started to say then I cut him off and walked over to Briana.

“Hey, so uh… I was wondering if you would let me see Andy, considering you and Ash-“ I started to say then I was the one being cut off now.

“Yeah, of course! But just to let you know he’s only got…” She checked her watch “39 more hours until he’ll be off of his life support…” She trailed off then realized that was just bringing tears to my eyes even thinking about it so she pointed me in the direction of his room, she knew I knew where it was, I should with how many times I’ve been in and out of there. I started to head off to Andy’s room then looked back and thought I should probably notify the guys that they could see him too, and Sandra, but they all gave me a look and knew I should probably just go see him by myself. I walked in and sat down next to Andy, I stayed at a comfortable distance at first, then I couldn’t hold it in anymore, I flung myself onto Andy and cried a river. I’m going to lose my love soon.
