I Guess Dreams Can Come True

“I want to see him.” I said seriously after a long moment of silence.

“Do you promise to no-“ I cut her off when I knew what she was starting to say.

“I told you earlier I won’t, now damn it, I want to see Andy now!” I yelled, now I was getting upset, I told her I wouldn’t do it anymore, why doesn’t she just believe me?! She gave me a glare after I said that, as if I hadn’t been through enough lately.

“This way…now.” She said, this time I glared at her, but I got up and followed her anyway so I could go see Andy again. I walked quickly behind her, then I saw his room # so I took off running for him and ran right into his arms.

“God, Andy! Stop scaring me!” I yelled as I cried on him again.

“I’m sorry, I-“ He said almost in tears again.

“Just-Just-Just please, I love you! Stop leaving me! Do you know what they said?!” I said fastly and stuttering.

“Wh-“ He started to ask.

“They said next time your heart fails they are putting you on life support and you’ll have 3 days on that, and if you don’t seem like you’ll be able to get out of here anytime soon they-they-“ I said then I started crying harder, causing me not to be able to continue, but I think he understood what I was saying because I could hear his heavy sigh, even though I couldn’t see him do it because I was so much into the hug, but I felt like I could feel his heart break with mine too.

“I’m sor-“ I started to say then he cut me off this time.

“I’ll make it, Kate. Please don’t worry about me, okay? I’m a big boy, I can get through this, I’m not worth your tears, babe. So lift your head, you don’t want your tiara falling.” He said with a gentle voice and smile, this caused me to cry harder, and he wiped away my tears and we continued just laying there, embracing each other. The nurse came back in after a while.

“Mrs., your doctor is wanting you right now back in your room.” I gave her a look of oh-god-no-don’t-take-me-away and she knew what I meant.

“You’ll come back, he just wants to talk to you for a moment.” I sighed heavily and got up and looked at Andy, he gave me another kind smile while I gave a sad face.

“It’s okay, doll. You’ll be back, and I’ll still be here, eagerly awaiting my beautiful princess.” I gave him a fake smile when he said that then I continued holding his hand as I took steps away, our grip on each other then on my 4th step away only our finger tips were touching and we finally had to say goodbye again. We kept our eyes on each other until me and the nurse disappeared around the corner to go back to my hospital room. I got back into my room and saw the doctor in there, smiling kindly, I sat down and faced him, giving him a nod telling him he could tell me whatever was so important he had to rip me away from Andy again.

“We are allowing you to go home tonight. You’re fine, just a bit bruised up, thanks to that kind fellow you threw a fit for.” I blushed for a second, then that faded.

“I hope you know that all I’m going to do is go home, change clothes, maybe take a 2 minute shower then come back, right?” I said with a bit of an attitude.

“Yes, we are fully aware you would be doing that. Let us just get you signed out and have you sign a few papers, you’ll be given back whatever items we could salvage from the car accident too.” I nodded my head after the doctor told me that in agreement.

“While you guys are doing that I’m going to go see Andy again.” He nodded this time in agreement. I knew my way to Andy’s room now so I just started walking over there when on my way I looked over towards the main lobby door to see guys running like their asses were on fire, I stopped to see who it was. As the guys got closer I could see that there were 4 of them, and they were wearing skinny jeans, leather jackets, and a lot of actually cool clothing, then I realized it was Jake, Jinx, Ashley, and Cc!

“Guys!” I yelled in excitement as they all busted through the door.
