-3 weeks later-

Sophia’s POV

I knocked on the bathroom door. It was 7 AM and thank God, it was Saturday. Kaycee ran in, shutting the door behind her. That always woke me up. I thought it was just something small but it has been going on for really long now.

“Kay? Kaycee, hun? Little sis? Mind if I come in? Please?”

I didn’t hear an answer but I came in anyways.

“No, don’t get here, it’s disguising. You don’t want to know,” she mumbled.
I sat on the floor next to her and looked at her all worried. I pat her back as she kept throwing up.

“Ugh, this is so sick…”

She kept mumbling some words as she threw up. I felt so bad because I couldn’t help her with anything.

Yeah, let me tell you what happened with Andy first.

He moved from Ohio to LA. Yes, LA. He left everyone behind, but promised Kaycee to call her, Skype her or send her letters. Well, he is keeping that promise. For now.
I don’t trust that kiddo anymore. Something just doesn’t match. I mean, he is amazing for Kaycee but there’s still one thing that I can’t trust. Is he really going to keep a long distance relationship?

“Fuck… this is happening to me for a long time now, isn’t it?” baby girl asked.
I nodded and something hit me.

‘Is she pregnant?’

“Are you pregnant?” I asked her, letting a heavy sigh out.
She was in shock. Like, SHOCK.
“Oh my god… do you think we went that far?”
“Did you use protection or something like that?” I blurted out.
She shook her head and I covered my face with my hands.
“You’re obviously pregnant. You know what, we’re going to buy some pregnancy tests.”

We quickly got changed and lied to our parents that we’re just going to the library to check up on something. I drove really fast. She bought at least 5 tests for any case if one could be false.


As we rushed back home, we both went to the bathroom, locking it behind us. She took all five of them and then we waited. I could see how scared she was. Her body was shaking like a pudding. What is she is pregnant? What’ll be? Love of her life went to LA and he won’t even want to know about it. Especially if she is pregnant. He’ll definitely leave her and forget about her. You know, I’m starting to think that he left because of another girl.

Minutes passed and my baby was scared to look. So it was up to me. I looked at all of them at the same time, and they all said the same.

Her eyes paid attention to me as she asked: “So? What does it say? I’m not pregnant, am I?”

I shattered while I answered her: “Baby girl, Kaycee, I have both bad and good news for you.
I don’t know where to start and what to say, how to say it or when to say it… I don’t know.”

“Just tell me already! I’m broken enough and I want to know what’s wrong with me. Am I pregnant or not?!” she annoyingly asked.

“Well… they are all…”
