I wasn't giving up.
I was fighting.
I wanted to live.

I watch the cars go by
But I hear no sound
The familiar crackle of branches
Is forever silenced
My own footsteps echo blankly
They cease to exist
The usual darkened sky
Is simply colourless
Nothing is permanent
Tormented by the rage
Of those around
We can easily disappear
But only with the right method
Of completely breaking someone
Can we survive a little longer
